2005 Escalade Cluster into 06 Suburban

Has anyone tried putting a 2005 escalade cluster into a 2006 tahoe or suburban? Are they compatable? Found a great deal on a 2005 Escalade cluster and ould really like to try and make it work in my 06 Suburban.

You'll just have to get it programmed at a dealer.

Any clue what it would cost to have programmed? I am assuming that the trans temp would work also? I had a buddy with an 01 Tahoe and he would just swap the 2 out whenever he needed too. I know they have a few more electronics so wasn't sure of the compatability.

Take it to a speedometer shop. Around here they charge anywhere from $40 to $80 to transfer information. The trans gauge will work automatically..
