You know the Tahoe is not a race car, right?

What do you mean by "speed"? Off the line? Midrange? Top end? You cant have all of the 3 if you are just changing gears. Gearing for bottom end removes some topend and vice versa.

Agreed 4.56 front and rear will get you up and moving quick. While you are at it, get a real posi rearend and ditch the govloc.
