I have a 2003 tahoe 4.8L with 235k and my transmission has lost 3rd and 4th gear. i did the basic fluid filter swap along with solenoids hoping it was a bad component. I changed the tranny fluid every 4th oil change and alwys kept it nice and red then all of a sudden odd shifting and burned fluid very quick from red to brown to dark dark brown. so at this point im ready for a new tranny, blue has been very good to me from day 1. my question is what would be the best route for my transmission, rebuild it myself, i have read alot of upgraded parts for the 4l60e transmissions just want to get some feed back.
