2001 Tahoe Message Center backlighting ?'s...

The orange backlighting in the message center of my 2001 Tahoe seems to be out. I can read the word "SECURITY" when I lock the doors but I don't get the orange backlighting. The red backlighting works just fine. The LCD screen seems to be working fine too. It is just the orange backlighting.

Anyone have experience with this? How can I fix it? Thanks!

The problem was a bad connection inside the LCD display itself. I took apart the whole cluster to get to it. There is a ribbon that connects to it. That was the culprit!
