2001 Tahoe Cluster lights and indicators

All of my cluster lights turn on and the screen cycles thru all notifications, the gas gauge and temperature gauge falls flat and after a while it stops. When it's having that problem the service engine light doesn't be on so the obd port doesn't work until the problem stops. Once I plug the scanner into the port it only reads EVAP sensor
