2000 tahoe z71 gmt400 4L60E

engine has been running great since the rebuild - but I got my oil changed this morning and they said it was down to about 4.5 quarts - engine holds about 6q. Where did the other 1.5 q go?? There are no leaks that anyone could see. So it must be burning it off? But it's not running hot

so what do I replace next, some gaskets and stuff? Can I have my exhaust tested somehow to see if the oil is burning out in the exhaust?

not all the oil gets drained out. the cooler and lines retain some. it is not unexpected to only need to add 4.7 to 5 quarts after an oil change.
