What's up everyone. I have a 2000 Limited Tahoe thats giving me some problems. I wanted to see if anyone else had issues in the past. After I stop it feels like someone is hitting me the rear. Also the truck seems to accelerate by its self in second gear after i take my foot off of the pedal. I just had my transmission worked on last year and i took it back and the shop said that is not the trans again. Any suggestions?

You might have more luck in the '91-'99 section. Yours is a 2000, but not a GMT800 2000...confusing I know.

Check the throttle cable for the sticking, though only doing it in second is quite strange. Your first question leaves a bit more information to be required to qualify an appropriate response, what did you mean by "After I stop it feels like someone is hitting me the rear"? That could be:

Leaf spring bushings
Shackle bushings
Shocks
Sway bar links

Also, how many miles are on the truck?
