Sometimes you just gotta pull the trigger.
Watched a buddy take over a year to decide to keep his GTO and fix everything wrong with it at which point more was wrong with it lol.
That’s what’s up! I wanted to get a tdi GTi MK6 but she likes the looks of the mk5 Jetta more when it’s blacked out. And we got a build date of March ‘08 which from what I’ve read getting an early build date with the FSI engine and DSG transmission is way better than the latter. Lots of issues in the later 08-10 build dates they made changes mid year. Dealership didn’t realize what car it had, just thought it was lumped in with all the ones with issues, I mentioned the issues and the obvious things wrong with it and they went way under the window price including taxes and tags out the door. Car even had a full history car fax, 2 owners, no accidents or anything, full dealership service for the life of the car.
We’re happy to say the least lol.

As much as I want to say yes and everyone on here would love to see another build, this is my Father in-law’s suburban. If anyone has kept track my father in-law, my dad, and myself all have NBS Suburbans hahaha. He is thinking about getting rid of it soon but I don’t think I’d buy it, been in a few accidents and things weren’t repaired correctly and things have been rigged just to keep it going at this point. He travels more than he is home so he doesn’t really care about it. I’ve got it for a couple days while he’s out of town to do brakes, tierods, and any other little cheap things I can make better/repair for little or no cost.

I need to find a factory one and do the same with the tahoe/silverado. Mainly for the silverado so I can see how much lift I actually have lol
