1993 Chevrolet Cheyenne k1500 Radio issues.

Hello all, I've recently replaced the CDM in my truck do to a battery drain issue. After replacing the CDM, i now have an issue with the radio head and not sure if the issue is in the head or if i've purchased a faulty CDM. The radio comes on as soon as the truck is started with no control of the radio control buttons. The power switch will change the display from clock to radio dial. However the power button will not turn the radio off. It will only turn off with the ignition switch. Also the radio will not function in the auxiliary position of the ignition switch.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Sounds like you never fixed battery drain issue before installing new unit. Or.. new unit failed also. Start over and replace improper wiring.
