14 Tahoe-help needed, bumper scratch, roof rack

Hello,

I just got a 2014 Tahoe LT used with 19,000 miles.

I am putting a 1.5" leveling kit in the front. I have black vtec raptor rims on it.

1) The front number and mirror guards have been chipped down to the plastic. This is from "dead bug guts" that were not cleaned by the prior owner.

I have been racking my brain on how to deal with it.

I considered 1) getting them repainted and then adding a 3m protective film over them. 2) touching them up myself and when the get bad enough
, get a professional repainting. I am open to suggestions.

2) I had an 02 z71 Tahoe. I really liked the roof rack. Is it possible to put an escalade roof rack on my 14 tahoe? Are their any after market places that can sell that ? I would like the rails painted or chromed black.

3) Can anyone refer me to lights to complete my blackout?

THe 2002 Z71 rack will fit the 2014. As far as the bumper goes, you can try to buff it and see how clean it gets. If not, get it repainted. Shouldn't be looking at too much to paint.

yep you can put an escalade roof rack on there... put one on my prior 08 tahoe and just put one on my 11 yukon.

NBS 00-06 and NNBS 07-14 are all the same and bolt on all the same

professional repainting. should be less than $100 including paint and labor. U

You can put an ESky or a Z71 rack on yours 00-14 all the same bolt pattern. If you want the chrome blacked out, use vinyl

while you're having your mirrors fixed, have the body shop spray your tail lights with 80% clear and 20% gloss black paint. Will tint your tails perfect

was talking about the mirrors. didn't notice he said bumper too...

Bumper, depending on scratch, depth, etc, I'd say around $250 at most shops. All depends on how bad it is.
