'07 Yukon XL Denali driver seat motor

I have a 2007 GMC Yukon XL Denali and the driver seat motor is giving me trouble.

Is the motor for everything (move seat forward/back, up/down) or are there separate motors for each?

I can move my seat up and down but not forward/back.

Check to see that nothing has entangled the threads that the motor activates that move the seat forward and backward. I had an accumulation of dog hair that got onto the threads and prevented the seat from moving.

So the same motor for up/down and forward/backward?

The motors are separate. They are both a screw drive type setups. They can be known to "bottom out" the threads and get jammed in place.

You don't hear it trying to move or rock back and forth at all? Completely dead?
