Hey guys I'm new here but I searched for a similar topic and couldn't find it. If there is one please direct me there and we can wrap this up. Otherwise this is my issue.
My AWD drive works like a charm and so does 2WD, but if I put it in 4HI or 4LO then I hear a clunk like I should but the front axle does not pull at all. In 4LO the gearing is lower so the transfer case seems to be working for that part of it. I just don't know what handles the engaging of the front axle when it is shifted into 4WD.
The AWD engages the front axle with hardly any wheel spin so that seems to confirm that most of the system is working.
So basically can anyone tell me what part could be bad so I have somewhere to start checking?
