04 Tahoe Z71 3rd Brake Light Not Working

My 04 Tahoe Z71 3rd brake light is out. All the fuses are in working order. The cruise control works. Both of the other brake lights work as well. I've even replaced the light (brand new, oem). Still not working. Please help!

Check the connector at the hatch up top behind the rubber grommet. Those connectors are known to go bad. It is usually the wiper that stops working. Or at least that's what happened to my 02 suburban.
