Hi all,

I got a new BCM in my 04 Yukon Denali after the dealership told me it was fried. This was motivated by the fact that I wanted to get a radio back in the vehicle since it wasn't communicating with the amp. I put in a Pioneer aftermarket. After getting the truck back, everything has gone wrong.

-The radio randomly shuts off and turns on while I'm driving and I can't do anything about it. If it's off, I can't turn it on
- The FM reception is awful (this may not have to do with the installation)
-My rear doors, trunk, and rear hatch do not lock. However, the alarm system will go off if I lock it and try to open those doors. Also, the "Rear Hatch Open" alert sometimes appears but seems to have gone away

Other problems that appear to have self-corrected themselves: 1. the car didn't beep when I locked it, but now seems to work. 2. when locking the doors using the door panel inside the car, it would lock and then immediately unlock. This also appears to work now.

My question is- does this all sound like a BCM installation issue? Was it not flashed correctly? I am fighting with the shop and insurance to cover the followup repairs. They are fighting back because they did not work in the rear of the car where the doors are acting up and because the radio is not OEM.

Any thoughts? The OEM nav system was jacked out of the car a few months ago and may have been the cause of frying the BCM and causing the poor FM reception.

Thanks!
James
