This ended up being the problem. Got some time to investigate further, and mine was over travelling on both ends. Made some mods with JB Plastiweld, and it works like it should again...
Thanks for all the help.

Yeah, I saw that thread. It's what led me to going ahead and buying a Tech 2. In that thread, it seemed that the issue ended up being the actuator. In my case, I think the actuator is working properly, but maybe there's something there I don't know about / understand.
I'm really hoping...
I'm having issues with the mode door on my 2002 Yukon XL SLT. I have the auto climate control (the version with the three knobs, not the later one with the LED display in the center). Every since I got the truck a few months back, I've had intermittent issues with the AC. A new blend door...
I was able to compare two at the auto parts store, and it's what I figured - not a direct swap. The mounting appears to be the same, but the wiring is completely different. On the one for an 02, it has a decent-sized harness attached to the switch. On the 03, it's just plugs on the back of...
So, I just started having issues with the multifunction switch in my Yukon. Specifically, the wipers sometimes stick on. The problem appears to be within the switch assy, and I know how to change it, etc. - that's not my reason for posting.
My Yukon is a 2002 and the switch for the high/low...
Realized that I never updated this. You don't need to drop the headliner. Here is the process:
1. Raise the sunroof to the vent position.
2. Mark the location of the sunroof on the four mount points (I just used a silver sharpie)
3. Remove the four torx screws that secure the sunroof glass
4...
Like many others, I'm thinking about a cam swap. However, I'm looking for a piece of info I haven't really seen anyone talk about - MPG...
I'm about to do a BB tune, and like many projects, it seems to be suffering from scope creep. I'd like to do a cam eventually, so I'm seriously...
I'll take small cubbie #2 and one of the larger ones that has the insert. Let me know how to pay (I haven't used Zelle, but I can probably figure it out)...

This is my thinking too. If right, then the electric fans should be better in all situations except for low speed with high RPM for long periods. I live in a rural area with no big mountains, so I see that situation rarely.
I think I'm going to go the 05-06 efan route. Now, I just have to...
I'm skeptical of that. I would bet most of the airflow at speed is being driven by air pressure on the front of the vehicle, not the fan. When running down the highway, the RPMs are low most of the time. As a result, the fan isn't "pulling" much. Sure, you can't put a fan on there that will...
Radiator was flushed a couple months back when I bought the truck. I always do all fluids and filters when I buy something to be safe.
All the air dams are in place and both the trans cooler and radiator fins are clean.
I've started collecting the parts to upgrade the trans cooler. I'll...
I recently tried towing my tractor with my 2002 Yukon XL 2500 (6.0). Total weight was around 7000 lbs with the trailer. Temp was 92 deg outside, high humidity. I was running 70 MPH over rolling hills. This was the first time I've towed anything substantial since I got the truck, so I was...
Most insurers also offer "agreed value" policies. I once had one on my daily driven classic (69 F100) thru Shelter. I wouldn't recommend them (they screwed me over when I got hit), but it may be worth exploring with other insurers.

I recently bought an 02 Yukon XL and one of the only problems with it is that the sunroof cover was missing. I'm talking about the sliding shade that is on the inside.
I picked up one off eBay with good clips. Before I attempt the install, I figured that I'd look online and came up dry. I'm...
I'm assuming that both were not fanless? I had looked at the Alla Lighting Xtreme, and they're fanless which I like (less to fail), but I'll check out those. Thanks.

Of the brands you mentioned, the BFG is the only one I have personal experience with, and it was on a GMC 3500 (SRW). They handled great, and I got about 45k out of them.
After that, I switched to Mickey Thompson ATZs as I wanted better mud performance. I got that, but they were too noisy for...
I'm in search of a brush guard that will fit an 02 Yukon XL 2500. I found a few companies that make entire bumper replacements that will fit, but I don't like the style of any and they're more expensive than I want to spend. It appears that a few companies used to make brush guards for them...
I just picked up an 02 Yukon 2500, and I need to do some work on the headlights. Headlights need buffed out, etc. and have some cheap bulbs in there currently.
I've read a few threads, but with the speed that technology is changing, I'm worried some of that info may be outdated. I'm not after...
