Is the ecu compatible between a 5.3 and a 6.0?
I see that 2001 Yukon XL shows it came with a 6.0 L engine. Mine came with a 5.3 L engine. Do I need a certain ECU or can that be simply changed in a tune?- InterceptorF

SOLVED - Cylinder 7 misfire
New spark plugs, wires, lifters odd bank pushrods odd bank, injectors, oil pressure switch, egr seal on the intake… So I had a collapsed lifter in the odd bank and pulled the odd bank head. 2001 Yukon XL - BTR stage 1 cam ECU tune?
I just did a basic rebuild on a 2001 LM7 for my Yukon XL (rings, bearings, seals) and added a BTR stage1 cam/springs/trunion upgrade to it. The beast started right up! woohoo!
