Our last local hardware store had cable by the foot but went out of business last year. The big boxes sell certain cables by the foot if you can track someone down to unlock the cage.
government is the biggest problem with cars these days; with the hoops carmakers have to jump through for asinine regulations, and the thousands of dollars compliance adds to each car price.
^ This.. I dont pine for the fumes of 1960’s unburned tetraethyl lead laced fuel but certainly the...
Thank you for getting back Nick, I was hoping I didn’t need the big guns!
I did a rinse and repeat of the reset transmission adapts with my Tech 2 (first time was with a different scanner, a launch, and I may not have committed the reset properly) And now it hits all 6 just fine.
Of course...

Lost 5/6 today, nothing unusual happened beforehand just normal driving. I dont tow, hit every maintenance interval religiously. Just started driving today and it wont shift out of 4th. Tried manual mode and the same.

He mentioned 88k. Is that stored in one of the vehicle’s computers (along with the hours to verify the instrument console is correct). I just messed around with my Launch scanner and didn’t see it… According to the interweb:
A vehicle with 88,000 miles should generally have
between 1,800 and...
Welcome! I’ve glued (epoxy or urethane) the center cap’s plastic with success, and also have used a pearl of urethane glue to hold them on the wheel as they weaken with age. They still come off when you want them to it just keeps them from popping off while driving.
I have not noticed my oil pressure falling over the life of the oil but it makes sense that viscosity breaks down over time (oil gets ‘thinner’) due to the viscosity index improvers that are broken down by engine shear and high heat, fuel dilution and oil additive consumption
The oil filter...
Welcome to the forum! Thank you for your service, several active vets on the site.

Since the fuel trims are trying to compensate for too much fuel you may have a leaky fuel spider that is dumping gas into the intake. Check that the fuel rail holds pressure steady after you cycle the key on and off.
I ran my truck at GMPG…Doesn’t generate RPO codes like on the SPI but it does look like my vehicle’s components

That’s a nightmare, sorry to hear about your predicament. I don’t think a legal remedy will give you much relief as it will be tough to prove the shop’s negligence and even if you won a settlement receiving restitution is far from guaranteed. :(
How are the transmission shop reviews? Any...
yes, it is cheaper to make because it has less ethanol in it. I noticed the summer stuff stacked up all over the place during Covid when we were having ethanol shortages. You could also add a bottle of drug store ethanol to the tank to bring down the freezing point
