I ended up going with a 5x8 18” magnaflow as well. The borla I have now is 21” long and much fatter so it should be a nice difference but hopefully not too crazy.
I installed the dealer performance upgrade borla touring catback on my 2019 Tahoe. Since then I’ve does headers and a cam and the borla muffler is too quiet at idle and I’d like to hear the cam more. If I cut out the borla touring muffler and put in a magnaflow should that give me the sound I’m...
I’ve been looking all over and I can’t find them at all. I got them over 3 years ago maybe they’re discontinued? They’re definitely corsa though I can see the logo on the tubes
I decided that I’m going to go back to the gm oem 200 degree thermostat. Then if I have overheating issues with it I’ll do some cooling system upgrades like a performance radiator. I think my problem is the 160 degree radiator is working too hard and it’s too hot and it’s causing it to expand...
I have a heavily modified 2019 Tahoe. It has a fully built motor and a supercharger. Because of this I have a 160 degree thermostat to keep things cool. The problem is that the 160 degree thermostats that I’ve bought have not been reliable at all. Most of them last a few months and then will...
From reading forums I see a lot of people have an issue of the rear sitting too low after installing 2 inch leveling kits. Has anyone figured out which brand gets you closest to looking perfectly level?
I have a 2019 rwd Tahoe with magneride.
I got a p0324 code today so I ordered a new knock sensor to see if that fixes it. Where is the sensor located on the 5.3 on a 2019 Tahoe? Is it just one or two?
Did some more research and I decided on the black widow mufflers since they offer the 2 in 1 out and they sound great. I’m just trying to figure out which model to go with now as I don’t want anything that’s super loud. I made a new thread on this here...
I’ve got a 2019 5.3 with corsa headers, cat delete, resonator delete, and borla catback. I want to cut out the borla muffler and weld in a black widow muffler because I feel as though the borla isn’t deep enough.
I’m worried if I pick a black widow that’s too aggressive my truck will be...
I’ve got a 2019 Tahoe 5.3 with the dealer installed borla catback. I want to put a muffler that has more of a deep rumble that I feel the borla is lacking. I like the corsa mufflers, but none of them have the 2 in, 1 out piping I need in order for it to be compatible with the borla catback. See...
I installed some led tail lights and now one of them blinks too fast and I get a taillight error message. From what I’ve read I need to replace my current resistor with one meant for led lights. Has anyone else done this and can tell me the part number?
I have a 2019 Tahoe 5.3 with a 2.9l whipple. Recently had a shop install a boost and fuel pressure gauge. The fuel gauge is pretty erratic in the sense that at idle the gauge is constantly twitching back and forth minus 10psi of whatever number it’s reading, usually around 50psi. The owner of...
If it would look good then yea I would consider it. I just don’t know anyone that I could take it to for that. Why do you know a vinyl wrap that is that color?
Got a a pillar gauge pod that I need to color match to the interior. My interior is that grey color. I’ve provided some pictures below. If anyone could link a spray paint can that I could buy that’s that color it’d be greatly appreciated.
Trying to remove the Pcv valve on my 2019 5.3 Tahoe so I can gut it so that more of the load is placed on my catch can. Does anyone know how you remove it? I believe the term for it is the valley plate where it is located. It’s under the throttle body kind kind of hidden.
I have a 2019 Tahoe with a 5.3 and a 2.9l whipple. Looking to install a catch can or cans. Can anyone recommend me a good setup and show me how they routed it?
I have a 2019 Tahoe 5.3 with a 2.9l whipple, corsa long tube headers, and the Chevy performance borla catback. I’m pretty happy with how my current exhaust setup sounds especially at WOT. I just feel the idle with the borla mufflers is a little quieter than I would like. I don’t want anything...
Yea I went from a 4.5 to a 4.25 and installed lt4 fuel pump and lt4 injectors. I believe that my hp fuel pump is still stock. Someone told me in another forum that I could tap into the fuel supply line on the drivers side of the engine towards the firewall that sticks up but i don’t know how...
I’d have to ask my shop about the data, however i already bought the gauges so I’d like to try and make them work. Will the readings be about the same with the supply line? I mean it would show me a drop in pressure, which is what id looking out for in case of emergency right?
I have a 2019 5.3l Tahoe with a 2.9l whipple. I ordered a autometer electronic fuel pressure gauge to install in my interior. Would anyone know how I should go about tapping into the fuel system to install the gauge? If I have to take off the supercharger to get to the fuel rail I’ll probably...
Nice! Thanks for that. Any idea if this one that says it’s for up to a 2018 model year would work in my 2019? I don’t think the interior changed at all from those two years. That was the only dual one I saw without the handle for a Tahoe.
