    2005 Tahoe shut down

This screams rodent chewing on wires to me, and there are probably more that you do not see. Ive never seen a harness that just had wires showing copper for no reason...

    Fuel Injection Cleaning Kit?

Get a nonaerosol sprayer. The output is 1/8 inch pipe thread, so you need a coupling and corresponding threaded barb fitting. A length of hose and the correct fitting to hook to the fuel supply fitting of the fuel rail. At the chevy dealer we used soft jaw vice grips to pinch the return hose...

    Fuel Injection Cleaning Kit?

Im trying to remember your build. Did you go with a different intake? Or do you have the original style with the return fuel line to the tank?

    Fuel Injection Cleaning Kit?

Therein lies a problem in itself then. If you have a custom tune, and it was tuned with injectors that are not flowing properly... getting them fixed runs a possibility of the tune needing redone. So keep that in mind as well. Not telling you not to clean them. But just putting out there that...

    Fuel Injection Cleaning Kit?

Do you have the ability to watch fuel trims with a scanner or tuning tool? If so go for a drive and see how much it is adding. If more than 4 or 5 percent at a steady flat road cruise I would say yes they may be clogged. If it is pulling more than 4 or 5 percent then they may be sticking. But...

    E85 Tahoe

At those prices, it does offset the decreased mileage. But here in illinois, e85 is only about 50 to 60 cents cheaper. Thus not offsetting the mpg loss.

    L59 Intake Upgrade ?

Be careful to not work that converter too hard. Buddy of mine had one behind the STOCK 6.0 in his trailblazer ss. He did a medium healthy burnout pulling his boat out of the water at the local boat ramp. On the way home he heard a strange squawking sound. Turns out he ballooned the converter and...

    L59 Intake Upgrade ?

Shorty headers are worth 3 to 7 hp over manifolds. Long tubes about 15. The stock intake is preferable for the suvs and trucks. And even flow better than the LS1 intakes. Tbss would be your best bet anyway. The aftermarket ones are pointless until well into the 500hp range. Stock 706s/862s are...

    Transmission gave up

Not saying you don't have the ABILITY to figure out how do this as I do not know you personally. But, agree with Rockola on this one. If you have to ask if the TC should be replaced you are not ready for this job. Also, a reman with a warranty is always a good idea. Especially if you are...

Rear hatch won’t unlock or open

Just for grins, push down on the wiper while trying to pop open the glass. Mine would not open at one point and it was because the wiper wasnt all the way down. O think it is a safety thing to prevent damage. May not explain the whole gate not opening, but it is a place to start

Feel like a kid on chrismas

He doesn't need a cam.... to preserve street manners he literally just needs a right side turbo manifold, turbo, intercooler, injectors and pump. Then run e85. I specifically for the purpose of showing a cam is not needed, posted a video link of a 5.3 tahoe with a stock motor making 518 to...

Did not catch the awd. Ok so all the same parts I listed in my last post apply. And you will be using a 6.0 so the power will come easier. The vid I am posting now is an awd Yukon xl and he did not know it was awd so the front wheels are strapped. He had a complete STOCK fuel system in this...

Feel like a kid on chrismas

Easiest fastest way to that power is injectors, fuel pump, turbo, intercooler and tune for e85. Oh and a 4L80e swap. At 14 psi and you will be in the neighborhood of 550 flywheel. Then replace the exploded gov-loc with a good posi unit. RHP turbo 5.3 tahoe

    [SOLVED] 4Lo 1st gear

What you could do, is have a friend lay with their head under the vehicle. And with the engine off, and parking brake set. Turn the key to on but dont start. Then run the shifter through all the gears. Your statement of it seems like it starts in a different gear when in the first position...

    [SOLVED] 4Lo 1st gear

I would always use a transgo hd2 kit if I wanted to upgrade a 60e. Depending on miles, the spacer plate may be worn and be needing replaced too. Hard to tell from the outside though. The 60e in my Silverado had 200k on it, and the 2-3 checkball had almost made its way through the plate. Luckily...

    Transmission tune

Not for GM stuff, but there have been a couple guys I've met that have used them in Ford applications. Like Marky said, in a gm application the stock computer is more than capable of being tuned to do whatever you need... unless you are doing a rat rod with a 60e behind an old 283 or something...
