ok, I pulled the door panel very carefully to put in a set of kicker speakers in the wife's ride. We have always had an issue with fitament of the switch panel for the drivers side, it always seemed a little loose. Upon pulling the panel off, I noticed on the underside the white plastic block... -

1997 Chevy power seat question
seat motor is out on my 97 drivers seat. anyone know a part number or is there any type of replacement? All the local salvages won't sell the motor, only sell the whole seat set up. Can a guy buy a junk seat and swap out to a manual bracket? thanks chris -
Rear A/C blows hot
my tahoe was doing that, and there was a leak on the low side schrader valve, fixed it recharged and works good again. so basically it was low on freon.- zilla68

where are you finding them this cheap? I found one at advance oem only for 186.00 with coupon code its 146.00 plus tax. I did find them on gmpartsdirect.com for 123 plus the ride. -

wow, since I don't drive it regularly I just never noticed it I'm guessing. So you are saying that it does this when the compressor initially starts, or every time it cycles on and off? Wondering if my alternator could be going, cause its dipping a little more than I remember it when that...- zilla68

Liftgate actuator took a crap
did you check advance auto parts, I could have sworn I saw an rear lift gate actuator on there yesterday for our 03 tahoe. Might not be the same part, but worth checking out.- zilla68

MPG concerns
a/c has been working overtime due to the 100 plus temps and 50 plus humidity. Fuel filter is only about 5k old, air filter is clean, and put new plugs and wires on yesterday. Didn't seem to help much for the drop in idle. When sitting still, idling, all of a sudden the rpms drop off about...- zilla68

The wife has a 2003 tahoe 4.8l we had bought brand new. It has 98k on the odometer. A/C doesn't work well at idle, but AWESOME when driving
check your water pump for leaking coolant, ours was ate up on the inside, actually the pump was still good, but the mounting surface was ate up bad, it would trickle just enough to let it run low over time, but never had a drop on the ground in the driveway. get underneath and shine a light up...- zilla68
