    Towing with a supercharger

Anybody have any experience towing with a supercharger? I have a 04 Tahoe Z71 5.3 flex. I tow a travel trailer that loaded will be about 7k or less. It pulls good now, but I'm looking for more low end grunt and dont have the $$$$ for a diesel at this time. Will it have cooling issues with the...

    Wheel Backspace with a lift???

I've been running 1.5" wheel spacers for 3 months now. Towing, offroading and hauling arse, havent had any issues with them. Now I used blue loc-tite on the stud to spacers. Then retorqued them after 100 miles(they didnt loosen any). I got mine from motorsport tech. They cost more, but are...

    2005 Tahoe "Service 4WD"

Not true about the codes. All you have to do is google them and a wealth of info pops up. Almost all auto parts stores down here will pull the codes for you, free of charge. Yeah, my nephew is in the Air Force and just got stationed at Grand Forks AFB. We were taking a vehicle up to him. Kinda...

    2005 Tahoe "Service 4WD"

Getting the code is the first thing. That should tell you what the problem is. Good luck with it. Didnt know you are in Canada. I went to North Dakota right after Christmas, not far from the Canadian border. High temp was -16*F and the low was -31*F. Never been so cold in all my life. Had a...

Having A Issue With My 02 Tahoe Losing Power Over 4k

On the abs issue, sounds like the abs controller is going bad. Thats $$$$$$$. Its on the frame. As for the power issue, IDK. I'd start with the standard stuff. Plugs, wires, clean the TB, fuel filter. But first I'd seafoam the motor to clean the carbon out. Then if that didnt help, you might...

    2005 Tahoe "Service 4WD"

I just saw this thread. Depending on what code is stored, it can be a couple of things. 1, a bad switch, 2, a bad encoder motor located on the transfer case. It also could be the actuator on the front diff but thats rare. C0327 is the encoder motor. The encoder can be rebuilt or replaced for...

New member with a new to me 05 z71

Thats the way my Z71 was before I put RC keys on it. I couldnt even make it level cranking on the stock keys. It would be a whole lot cheaper just to put keys on there than new torsion bars. But if you insist on bars, I found GMpartsdirect had them for $194 per bar a while back. You need the bar...

04 Tahoe RC level kit w/shoes

The RC kit comes with front keys, rear spacers 3/4" and 4 shocks. I just left the spacers out as I didnt need the additional 3/4" lift.

04 Tahoe RC level kit w/shoes

OK, finally put my RC level kit on with shocks. Keys in front, but I didnt add the 3/4" rear spacers as I figured I wouldnt need them for the tires. Went with Cooper ST/Maxx 285-70-17's, for now. The fenders sit right at 37" but I'm still able to get 39" when the keys are maxed out. I have 1.5"...

New to Forum - 3 inch level and changes

I know this has been beaten to death, but I have to ask. Do you rub any? Do you think that a Cooper STT 35x12.5x17 would fit with minor trimming of the inner liners? Or are the 33's really close now? Truck looks awesome BTW. Oh, and what wheels do you have?
