    $83 cold air intake

Good find! Thanks for the link. Mine came today! My neighbor thought I was crazy when he saw me installing it at 9:30 at night! I drove around the block after I installed it and it sounded pretty good. Will see how it is tomorrow when I do some more driving.

    Wanting some hid input

Correct! The DRLs and reverse lights were not plug and play. I siliconed H11 bulbs in then tapped into the stock wiring. I used the wire harness I had from my original HID low beam setup for the DRLs to regulate the voltage. Each DRL has its own relay and fuse. I did not take any pics...

    Wanting some hid input

I recently upgraded from 35w 8000k to 55w 8000k DDMs in my lows. The light output is incredible! I was looking for more light because my windshield is tinted and the 55s definitely help. I also have 35w 6000k DDMs in my fogs, DRLs, and reverse lights. Highs are 35w 4300k off eBay. I will be...

    03 Taho HID help..

From what I have read DDMs kits are good. Some people have had some issues but their customer service will take care of you. I have DDM HIDs in all my lights except the highs. The highs have a cheap eBay kit that I will soon be replacing with a DDM kit. You will not need the error...

    Anyone use these halo projectors?

A friend of mine got halo projectors off eBay for his Suburban. He has had them about a year and a half and one of the halos is completely out and the other is half out. Don't remember how much he spent but I don't think they were cheap.

New member Any ideas with more mods??

Looks good! I agree on the clear signals and LED tails. I assume you do some off roading. For some extra light you can do the 4 or 6 high mod. What percent is the tint on your windshield?

    HID trouble

Do you have a wire harness? I just replaced my 35w 8000k lows with DDM 55w 8000ks. I hooked them up using the harness that was already there for the 35w ones. The first night I went to the store and when I left the driver side one wasn't coming on. The next day I switched to the DDM wire...

    Just finished complete HID conversion

Yeah, I'm not sure if I like the DRLs or not. They are crazy bright! I am thinking about trying to retro in projectors. Not sure if this will be possible or not yet. I have to buy a new set of parking lights and take them apart to see if it will work or not. It is very dark where I live...

    Just finished complete HID conversion

Ha ha! I thought about putting the DRLs on a switch in case I needed some extra light on a dark road (with no other cars around!) but there is plenty of light with the 55w lows. Throw on the highs with the 4-high mod and its daytime again! Just took a bunch of night pics. Will post them...

    LED Tails??

I have one. I'm just so used to using my mirrors I never use it!! The truck went into the body shop last month for some rear bumper work so I had them recess it into the bumper to the left of the license plate (it was mounted under the bumper next to the trailer hitch). Bad idea. Now at...

    Just finished complete HID conversion

No. The reverse lights and DRLs are H11 bulbs held in with lots of silicone. The bulbs fit well, but will not lock into place at all.

    MPG concerns

I wish I got gas mileage that high!! Anyway, not sure if it has anything to do with your MPG, but try cleaning the throttle body and changing the fuel filter. That should help with your idle issue.

    HU Illumination Wire

So I went ahead and connected the brown dimmer wire from the stock harness to the orange illumination wire from the HU. It works exactly how I wanted it to.

    Just finished complete HID conversion

I had 8000k HID lows and fogs. I now have... DDM 55w 8000k lows 35w 4300k highs DDM 35w 6000k fogs DDM 35w 6000k DRLs DDM 35w 6000k reverses I am thinking about replacing the highs with 55w or higher and possibly dropping the DRLs down to 25w.

    Ambient Light Sensor

Mine still works fine too. I'm assuming since the dome is tinted the lights don't come on as early as they should without it. I pulled out the radio and can't get to it through there. Guess the dash has to come off.

    HU Illumination Wire

I replaced my factory navigation with a Pioneer AVIC-D3. I do not have the illumination wire from the HU connected so the screen is crazy bright at night. On the factory unit when the headlights would come on the screen would turn to "night" mode by dimming and making the map background black...
