    Dealer is looking at the transmission tomorrow. I think it's the torque converter. Everything runs great until the trans temp gets above 170. Then clunking and rapid increase in temps.

    That was my understanding as well so I was a little surprised the dealership master mechanic said to look at the trans thermostat. Can I add one?

    Well crap. Is there a better one? Not convinced the factory cooler is that great but the 200 trans temp is normal in the summer, non towing? I'm just trying to mitigate any further issues with the transmission.

    Good points. I'll have the diff mounts checked. Motor mounts were replaced not long after I purchased it in 2021. Also ordered a TruCool 40k and will invest in deep trans pan and a @BlackBearPerf tune when I can afford it. :)

    It is indeed the air compressor. Pulled the AC compressor fuse then stood back by the air compressor. Loud as heck!

    It's not that. I know what that sounds like. This is coming from the engine bay. So unless there's a compressor up there, that's not it.

    2011 Yukon Denali XL 6.2L deleted. Fuel pump is brand new (AC Delco). Water pump/oil pump replaced 2 years ago when it was deleted. I suspect it's the AC compressor as well since the cold air stops after around 20-25 min.

    Was able to get it back to Baker Engineering to put the tune back on. Seems to be better but still some minor clunking. Not sure where to go from here.
