    Ethanol has less energy (BTUs) per gallon than gasoline so mileage/range suffers, but it cheaper. I've run mixtures of as much as 30% ethanol and no issue(s).

    @CMoore711 thanks My 07 Denali has the smallish factory KNP trans cooler and NO oil cooler. I may add a oil cooler and a larger trans cooler. I'll study your post.

    @JTS197 especially with Valvoline R&P. Its a good oil but not for extended oil drain intervals. 5k max if mostly hwy miles. 3,500 if mostly city.

    AFM/DoD Delete Advice Needed

    Thanks @RET423 was successful with his DOD/AFM delete and NOT changing the cam, exactly what I may do someday. My LY5 doesn't tick, misfire, etc and the cam is like new. One thing I forgot in my post #6 here was needing to buy 8 pushrods of the proper length (7.385" ?) to set proper preload.

    me too and I've replaced all hoses and calipers. Anytime it rains or I'm driving in snow I do panic stops to flush ole fluid out of the abs system.

    I For preventative mx I just changed the crankshaft position sensor in my 07 6.2 w/213k miles and there was NO need to do a relearn. Of course I had the battery disconnected when I did this. Same goes for the camshaft position sensor.

    Rocker arms get torqued to 22 ft/Lbs period preload is set with pushrod length use the search feature here with the word "Preload" and my user name, I've explained this many times.

    Engine Oil Leak? - Found :)

    A week ago I put a clean almost new valve cover on off one of my other vehicles with the identical vc. I'll soak/clean-out the ole one I took off. I ordered a Dorman # 917-303 dip stick tube. I'll make certain it indicates oil level the same/correctly. I may just epoxy the hole in ole one :)

    @WoodWorker1976 I replaced the brake light switch when my cruise control work. Fixed it :) NAPA SL1000 = $19 in 2018
