That's the diagram I referenced above. Doesn't show the line going to the motor.

2007 Denali..Fuel Leak Problem (long story)

So yesterday my wife took our 2007 Yukon Denali XL to Walmart to get tires balanced. They told her they wouldn't do it because there is a fuel leak at the tank. When I got home, sure enough, the tank is wet and reeks of gasoline. So today I decided to drop the tank, verify it's is in fact the...

    Broken klipring

I recently purchased a lower shifter cable for the wife’s 07 Yukon Denali XL. When I was disconnecting the upper cable from the lower, the Klipring that holds them together broke. Local Napa nor hardware store has this style. Does anyone know a part number or size, and/or where I could get one...

    Lower shift cable

Thank you for the help. I was able to order the correct lower cable from RockAuto. Now my new problem is the little clip that connects the upper to the lower cable broke when I removed it, and I can’t find one at my local Napa or advance auto. I called dealership and they lost it as coming with...

What is the length of the lower cable?

    2012 Tahoe transmission shifter

Do you remember what length the cable was? I just posted new thread. I have same problem, rock auto lists 2 lengths for lower, advance lists the longer one only, and summit racing doesn’t list my 07 Yukon Denali XL for the shorter one.

    Lower shift cable

Bushing in end of shift cable where it attaches to arm disintegrated. Bought Dorman Help bushing, ruined 2 trying to get it in, as well as snapped the plastic neck near the mount. Have zip ties holding neck together so I can shift to park, and wire holding cable to arm. I need to order a new...

    Replace rack and pinion bushings?

Im replacing my bushings right now. Trust me, the rack needs to be removed from the vehicle. I used a ball joint press to begin removing the old bushings, then used a hammer to finish as the press isn’t wide/long enough to allow the bushing to come completely out. Only thing is, I had to remove...

    Broke line on steering rack

2007 Yukon xl Denali. Pulled steering rack out to replace bushings. Ball joint clamp wouldn’t fit over the steel lines on the rack, so I removed them. They have threaded fitting on one end, and a flange and o-ring on the other end. On the longer line, the end from the o-ring groove down broke...

Z-71 coils in rear of Denali XL

IIRC you can adjust the height sensor arms to trick the leveling system into thinking it’s too low; the compressor would put more pressure to shocks and raise it up. Not sure how high you can safely do this. As for the pics, I didn’t realize until reading your post that I hadn’t taken any yet...

    New tires , Pulling left

Also, does your truck have rear leafs or coil springs? A bad control arm or spring eye bushing could cause a rear-steer situation.

    New tires , Pulling left

Could be an upper ball joint. The shop may have missed it. One time on my TJ I had it inspected, then a week later had the shop put 33x10.50’s on it and they told me both front unit bearings were bad. They didn’t go bad in a week.

Also, are the valve stems on the TPMS sensors? I told them to replace those as well, and noticed the next day they hadn’t.

    Dextero DHT2

you are correct. Had Walmart check the sensors. I know ones bad. The tech told me the battery is good and it reset for a minute, then stopped working. Not sure why they didn’t change it. They told me before hand that they could.

Thank you for the info. That’s on par with the reviews I read online. I feel better knowing my wife has new tires on the Denali.

    Dextero DHT2

They were too far gone. Extended driving timeX12 psi=ruined tires. They had cracks where the tread meets sidewall. Had wear in that area too, which should’nt happen unless you hit a lot of curbs. Safest bet was to replace the tires.

For many months now, we have had an issue with two of the Goodyear Eagle tires that were on the Denali when we bought it. We’ve had to add air, at first once a month, then once a week, but lately almost every day. Well, the wife doesn’t see/understand that the tires are way too low, and doesn’t...
