    Level’d to 4/4

Yep, bought the kit for the extra drop and bolts. incase the knuckles and strut flip wasn’t enough.. but it’s plenty. So I went down to the ol’industrial supply and splurged on 12.9 hardware. So far so good

    Level’d to 4/4

Had to nip the fender and fold cab pinch weld, tie back the park brake cable to the cab mount and a W/W fluid tank delete. Gotta get crafty with that one, looks like theres room in the upfit battery tray? Got about 3/4” clearance at the tightest, onto the other side now. 285/40-24’s Also...

    Level’d to 4/4

Yeah, with the drop brackets I can remove the springs at full droop, maybe a non issue potentially never going airbore while moving lol.

From searching around, Guys can use a strut spacer backwards to gain another .750 -1” drop on a strut flip. CV axle and the strut get really snuggly.

Can any one suggest a part number for a bolt on rear shock for the 4” rear coil? Or know the compressed/extended lengths? Not to eager to run the drop brackets

    2008 Tahoe swap options

Just finished this swap myself, 2014 6.0 from a 3500 sierra. Just need to bring over from the 5.3 is the flex plate, starter, motor mounts, oil pressure sending unit and the front accessory assembly. It all bolts together perfectly. On the harness side you will need the Map sensor pigtail if...

Good idea my man. Valley pan incoming first thing tomorrow. Short of that, it must be software if the injectors aren’t firing and the ecm is ok with that enough to adjust afr that the o2’s aren’t freaking out and the exhaust doesn’t smell to rich.

Thank you! I wasn’t sure if this had been done or not with the same symptoms, lots of mixed information out there about the 5.3 loaded ecm just working with afm unplugged and the vvt un plugged, I mean it did dial right to life, and now the with cps in the loop thing fires up at the flick of...

Ok, in the thick of it now. Questions i need to ask. Should I swap the oil pan for the level sensor? I Have to use the 5.3 engine harness from the 07 but short of the starter trigger wire and the lack of AFM seem the only differences. The flex plate from what Ive read is a direct bolt over to...

Yes I’ve done a similar swap Gmt800 sierra Short Bed but with a 5.3 in place of the 4.3 with a segment swap and butcher tuning. It was already planned to bring everything related to the engine over from the Sierra. Now I’m thinking the BCM, Column and hopefully not the firewall/dash harness to...

I got one from a 71 Eldorado in my 89 c2500 phantom dually project. Simmering away in the back. Funky motor mounts on the caddy imo. A strait up ear casted in the block to run a bolt and nut through .
