I know its probably been covered... but I could use a bit of front end and suspension advice

It's been a while since I was active on here at all, between work and my other projects my Tahoe hasn't gotten much attention, but now its time for her to get some love! When I bought the truck, the steering and suspension were in good shape especially for 180k miles, autoride worked good...

2004 Tahoe cluster backlighting a/c backlighting not working

I think I’m having the same issue on my 02 tahoe, are your radio lights out as well? I have no dash radio or ac control lights at all, I’ve also replaced the dimmer switch, and I’ve replaced all the fuses and light bulbs on the dash and checked all the wiring, everything tests good but nothing...

So... what type of gas mileage do each of the engines get?

The only ones I've got experience with are the 4.8 and the 5.3... the 4.8 seemed to get ~19-20 mpg (70% highway) on my commute and ~21-22 mpg on the interstate at 85-ish... the 5.3 got 16-ish on my commute, but I never got it on the interstate. What about the larger engines though? Anyone with...

So... what type of gas mileage do each of the engines get?

Probably driving habits lol, my aunts 07 Escalade got 18-19 around town and 22+ on the highway (depending on speed) when she was good but it got down to 8-10 mpg when she wanted to have some fun

So... what type of gas mileage do each of the engines get?

That's the first place I looked lol, they only have the smaller engines though (4.8 and 5.3). I haven't been able to find EPA estimates or much on what you can actually expect with the larger engines.

So... what type of gas mileage do each of the engines get?

I tried searching for threads with this info, but couldn't find anything. I'm wondering what each of the engines will get as far as mpg... I'm mainly looking at the Tahoe/Yukon with the 4.8/5.3 and Yukon XL with the 6.0, but drove (and really liked) a Suburban 2500 with the 8.1 today, so I'm...

Thinking of Buying a 00-06 NBS Tahoe/Suburban? Look Here

My aunt has had 3 Tahoes (an 01, an 05, and an 06) and she said she had the steering wheel was crooked (it was a theft recovery) and the a/c had a few issues pop up all at once on the 06 at 160k and the 05 was the only hatch and she hated it... the 01 she bought new and the others she bought at...

What have you done with your other vehicles?

I've got a 2016 Scion iA as my DD until I get my Tahoe/Yukon... it's got 15% tint with a 5% strip and 70% on the rest of the windshield, and I'm planning on new rims and tires but that'll be it for the car... come February I'm giving it to my mother (that's when she starts working far enough...

    Denali's demand a premium?

Oh lol then she had the 6.0! And I've been using Autotrader, cars.com, Craigslist, and I think the other one is hmn? I've only been searching within 250 miles of me, but I'd definitely look farther if it's that much of a price difference.

    Denali's demand a premium?

If you don't mind me asking, where do you live that you're finding them for that little? For under $10k I can't find a Denali, let alone a Denali XL, with under 250k miles and no problems (I'm fine with some normal wear, but I'd still like it to look and run nice)... I'm down in FL, and I know...

Thinking of Buying a 00-06 NBS Tahoe/Suburban? Look Here

So I'm looking to buy a Tahoe/Yukon (maybe a Suburban or Yukon XL, not sure yet, but no Escalades), and I read through all of this and only have 2 questions I didn't see answers to... #1: are there any mileage-related issues (like BMW with cooling systems failing around 100k and TrailBlazer...
