I have replaced both of the hoses that connect directly to the heater core, replaced the heater core, and replaced the blend door. Does this mean its most likely a vacuum issue? I havent tried to test the vacuum. Is this where i should start?
I have a 96 Tahoe and I'm going to do a LS swap with a 2010 6.0. I have going to have the engine rebuilt due to the mileage the engine has. can someone help me find out what else I would need to do in order to complete it. (wiring harness ect.) I have heard I have to move something to the front...
I mean with mine having 200,000 i wasinterested also just as a backup plan. If my motor went out i would upgrade to a newer engine i.e the 5.3. But not looking to do it imediately. Just heard that the 350 with that many mile can be a little dangerous on puking.
I will most likely do some tuning but try to save as much as the gas milage as i can. Cause filling up once a week gets expensive. Driving to school everyday i can use quite a bit of gas. Any advice would help.
I am mostly doing this fuel fuel economy and ive heard that the 5.3 are a little more reliable. Not doing it to tune it to go fast or have crazy horsepower
How long does this project take? This is a daily driver so i dont really want it to take a long time to complete. The options you gave me the third sounds to be the most reliable. The money would just have to be saved up.
super interested in doing the 5.3 swap in my 96 Tahoe. does anybody know where or how much would a wiring harness cost and where I could buy one? new to this idea. any advice could help.
it's been happening for a couple weeks

I do think I have a wheel bearing going out because I get a death wobble in the steering wheel sometimes even on smooth pavement
yeah I figured that there isn't much but in getting 11 right now. I didn't know if there were any simple ways like new injectors or air intake or simple things like that, that would increase by one or two mpg.
I have a 96 throttle body intake manifold and want a little better mpg. Not looking for extra hp or tourqe. Ive thought about buying a newer multiport. Are their any aftermarket intakes that will increase MPGs.
I have a bad leak and im pretty sure its the rear main. Ive put seal softener and it slowed down but im gonna have to replace it. Are the rear main seals 1 or 2 piece on a 96?
