    FS OEM navigation SOLD

OK probably a dumb question, but what has to be done to a non-nav equipped truck to make this work? I'd assume some sort of nav antenna? And different wiring connectors?

Sorry for the somewhat poor picture quality, but you get the idea.

    Belltech 5321 Doesn't Seem like 2" Lower???

In case anyone ever stumbles across this in the future, I took off my nivomat shocks and extenders, and put my belltech shocks back on and low and behold (no pun intended lol) it dropped an inch! Well an inch on the passenger and 3/4 on the driver but I'm happy! To recap, I have 2 inch drop...

    Belltech 5321 Doesn't Seem like 2" Lower???

I don't have autoride (air) I had the nivomat self leveling shocks (the big black ones).

    Belltech 5321 Doesn't Seem like 2" Lower???

@drakon543 yeah I got in a hurry and forgot to measure. I'll give it some time. @BADRIDES were you using shock extenders with them as well? I think next oil change I'll switch the shocks back around. Thanks to the both of you for the fast replies!

    Belltech 5321 Doesn't Seem like 2" Lower???

Anyone else ran into this? Had the 5305 coils on my 04 with belltech sp shocks and it sat perfect. I've been doing a bit of towing and not wanting to mess with bags, I bought a set of belltech 2 inch lowering springs, djm shock extenders, and went back with my oe nivomat shocks. It seems so high...

Hose size for backflushing heater core

Heater core itself is 3/4" outlet and inlet. Is it clogged enough to not heat up the air box? Be careful with the pressure you force through it, wouldn't want to cause a leak.

Rear Differential Cover - to RTV or not RTV the gasket?

I'm with @alpinecrick. Thats the exact way I do it, a thin coating on both sides of the felpro paper gasket so that it doesn't poop out everywhere. One thing to note, I do flatten out the cover around the bolt holes each time. If someone over-tightened them in the past it can make the cover flex...

Is this worth it? CAI, 2002 5.3 Daily

Put the same kit on mine way back when...unless you are doing it for looks, pass.. I've been through the spectre, k&n, gm performance, and back to stock and my mpg numbers never varied enough to justify it. The cleanable filter makes it kinda cool but when you still have to spend $15 on the...

    2003 Yukon Warm-Up Time

Depending on how cold it is outside.....also keep in mind i have the 34" radiator with rear heat and a severe duty fan clutch, 15 mins of driving is the longest I have seen. 30 mins seem way too long, like the t-stat is stuck open or that's 30 mins idling in the driveway when its zero outside...

    Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac

Used to sell goodyears. Hardly ever sold the duratracs. Most people went with wrangler at adventure for an all terrain or if they wanted something more aggressive the wrangler mtr (mud). The conservation dept switched to the MTR exclusively but got a great deal on them being a government agency...

Question about ZW7 Smooth Ride (Nivomat) shocks

The larger diameter shocks are the zw7 shocks. My 04 had it. Replaced with aftermarket belltech shocks when i lowered it, not sure how to identify the springs, but they do have to be changed as well. Might have a tag on them... If you arent sure, then you would have to replace the springs to...

    Spare tire troubles ?????

Dorman 924-517 on rock auto is $75, cut the cable and its 1 bolt to replace the whole thing. Good luck! New one does not have secondary latch. They also have a cheaper brand for $57 but not familiar with it.

Blower motor will not shut off

They changed the wire harness configuration, have to cut and splice on a new harness end but it's supposed to improve "something" internally.

Blower motor will not shut off

Yes, resistor. You can pull the fuse in the meantime.

will not start after fuel pump replacement

More likely: fuel pump failed..was it a cheapo or high dollar/oem replacement? Did you replace the whole sending unit assembly? Did you verify the sender was working properly and it isnt just out of fuel? Less likely: Ignition component failed and you now have no spark. Timing would just be...

Trans Fluid Drip When Parked Front End Incline

When you slide the driveshaft out, it is driven in right into the end of the tailshaft. Some are "booted" have a rubber boot that sticks out a ways to try to keep debris out of the sealing area, and some are non "booted". I'd get th.e booted, part number depends on which tranny you have.

Trans Fluid Drip When Parked Front End Incline

Id bet the output shaft seal is leaking. Would make sense with the angles. Check u-joints while you are under there, a bad one can take out seals. Assuming everything else is ok with the trans parts you replaced.

More importantly...is the trailer level when hooked up? You need the trailer to be level then calculate how much of a drop hitch you would need. Adjustable is helpful here...

How to tell if I have TPMS?

Can you show me your current valve stems on the stock wheels? Pretty sure anything like 04 and newer has it. Never had an orange exclamation point light come on on the cluster for a low tire?

Battery Acts Dead but tests Good

^^^ I agree that new cables would fix the issue. You could try a big 3 but unless you are good with making custom cables it's gonna be easier for you to just get oem assemblies. The fact that you can "wiggle" the cables and it makes a difference either tells me they are loose on the battery...
