Hey! It’s been a long while since my last post but thought I’d update you guys with my new tires. It seems to be quite a topic. Last Thursday I got 285/55R22 Nitto Ridge Grapplers installed. These babies are 33.5” tires and cost an arm and a leg. This is my second set and after the first set I...
Got some new exhaust. I made a deal with my wife it wouldn’t be as loud as my 05 Yukon. The local exhaust shop threw on a magnaflow copy (cherry bomb brand.) I drove that for a week and decided to chop off the resonator. The shop had an old tip laying around and scored it for $20. I’m in my...
My chrome lug nuts and blank center caps came in today. I’m pretty stoked with how everything turned out. The factory caps said GMC and their nuts from prior wheels didn’t look good.
I’m really leaning on taking off Tahoe badges and leaving Z-71. Thinking about taking off pin stripes. What do...
Thanks swathdiver for the advice on the relearn. I will try that tonight after work. I have purchased some chrome lug nuts from a reputible spot on ebay and they should be here Wednesday. A buddy that works at an off road shop had some plain center caps from a replica set he gave me. This forum...
The guy I bought them from thought they were already in there. I will have to research how to do a relearn. Thanks for the idea.

In my hunt for upgraded wheels and tires I came across a deal too good to pass up. I had stock Z71 18s but wanted something bigger. This weekend on FB marketplace I came across some 22” Denali wheels with brand new rubber. They’re wrapped in 285/45/22 Bridgestone Dueler A/T RH-S.
I’m just...
Hey Everyone. I’m stuck between a rock and a hard place. I have installed the CCM level kit and wanting to get some new shoes. I currently have the 18” Z71 wheels with 275/65/18 tires.
Should I buy 20’s or 22’s? I’ve exhausted this forum and myself reading high and low about which route to go...
Saw this driving around Wilmington NC today. I’ve seen it multiple times but first time I’ve been next to her. I’m guessing 6” and 35s. What do you think?

Weird. I am having the same issue that started this weekend. It will go back but not forward and it lays back. I will have it looked at and update you if I find anything out.
Thanks to this forum I decided to pull the trigger on the CCM 2.5 level for my 2010 Tahoe. If it wasn’t for searching these forums I never would have heard of CCM. They were easy to deal with and the level kit was 20% off on their site. Here is a before and after picture. It surely makes a...
I purchased a 2010 Tahoe last Wednesday. Instead of taking my time and going over everything in the new truck I went ahead and ordered a harness and everything else needed to install a new head. After I ordered everything I figured out that my stock LT radio reads what is playing from my phone...
Hey everyone.
Love this forum and all the help it is. Last week I purchased a 2010 Tahoe Z71 and love it. It’s my first time owning a Z71 and noticed it’s a little more stiff than a non Z71 model but the deal was too sweet to pass up. I’ve got my 05 for sale on Craigslist up here and sure will...
Had the black bear mail order tune installed for most of the afternoon and it is awesome! It’s fairly easy to install and go through the directions. I took it to a shop to get the crank relearn and that was pretty quick.
The tune is worth every penny. It really unleashes some juice and my...
Thanks! I got the tracking today. I am pumped. The USS NC is doing awesome. Wilmington is growing like crazy but it’s still a beautiful place. Holler next time you visit!

5 days after install I’d have to say I’m pretty happy with these speakers. The biggest thing about running 8” speakers is knowing they aren’t 10’s or 12’s and being okay with that. For what they are they sound great and I wish I would have installed them sooner.
