    G2 Gears

    I install gears every other week and have had some G2s make some noise even when setup properly. Yukons (the best gearset) have never heard any noise from at all even when you can not get the setup exactly perfect...get any gear parts from Randys ring and pinion great people...

    LTZ with autoride lift?

    Fabtech has a lift that allows autoride to function properly. I just put it on a 2008 GMC Sierra 4x4 w/autoride and autotrac and it rides perfect. Also it says 6" lift but it dropped the lower control arm 8" and the front diff 6". So its really a 8 inch lift kit- was really impressed.....

    dex cool went from a really orange look to more of a pinkish look after the reform. Never had any problem with either except when green is mixed in with it.     Looking into SAS swap for 99 tahoe

    you can get most of the hardware from ORU.com including all brackets that bolt on, shocks, leaf springs and hydraulic assist crossover steering. The only thing you would need would be an axle, custom driveshaft and a different transfer case - the autotrac cases wont act right.....LOL

    works really well too be able to drag over harness so you don't have to dig into harness till you locate a possible short... just read directions carefully...

    What to do ??

    I'll tell you to replace the intake gaskets(leaking at or near the corners of the intake and will trail down the crack between the head and block).........It is really rare on the 5.7 to leak coolant from the head gasket to the out side of the block...........

    Everyday driving get a posi unit or a electric locker(turn on when you need it) Don't get the powertrax its just a replacement for the spider gears and its clicking got on my nerves badly!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( but easy to install though)

    Rough idle at start up

    big problem in colder weather on 03 and below 5.3 liter engines and to clean out tb's I use BG intake spray
