    Everything is now working again on the vehicle. I ended up replacing the battery with a new one and now I do not have issues. So I think a bad battery was the problem.

    Were the buttons still working? My 2010 SLT the buttons all function but the lights go out in under a minute with no seat heating. You can turn the buttons on over and over and they go out by themselves each time.

    Well good news. The vintage Pioneer radio has a hidden built in override bypass for the DVD player so I can leave the parking brake wire disconnected. So maybe tonight I will tackle the heated steering wheel.

    Well it appears my issues are gone. It must have come from me just grounding the parking brake wire between the radio and the interface. It was just a setting to get the rear camera view to disappear. I still have the rear camera input disconnected so I will test the wire out of the interface...

    Of course I didn't disconnect the battery. I like to live dangerously. It very well could be the BCM as well as I have heard about the ground issues and to me that would make sense for the door locks not operating anymore. I did remove the BCM and took it apart and the circuit board looked great.

    More details. The ECM buzzes when the key is on. The onstar lights in the mirror flicker, light doesn't go out but it flickers. Also a faint noise coming from that little speaker deal in the headliner.
