Fog Light ball clips and adjuster - any source for these parts?

Wife's 2019 Tahoe didn't come with fog lights. I've got Diode Dynamics SS3 fog light kit (OEM style) for a Christmas gift. The instructions say to remove the ball clips and adjuster from the OEM housings and install on the DD housings. ???? Is there any GM or aftermarket source for these? Can't...

Diode Dynamics SS3 LED Fog Light Kit 2015-2020 Yukon

I've got DD SS3 Pro SAE Fog (white) on my F250 and they are awesome. Really light up the sides of the road. Could just about run them in place of low beams if I had to. I liked them so much, I installed SS3 Pro Floods as backup lights under the rear bumper. The road we live on has a lot of deer...

    G80 replacement

I’ve had the G80 in vehicles since 1999. Never had an issue with one, they just work when they’re needed. Having said that, those vehicles weren’t “wheeled”, just general driving and getting in wet grass, dirt, or mud when it had to be done. Recently got a ‘22 F-250 with the E-locker and I...

JLT / OSC catch can question

Installed the catch can today, and as I feared, the hoses were right in the way of the oil cap. Not sure why others didn’t experience this, maybe their hoses were longer or something? I flipped the bracket upside down to get the hoses a little lower but it still wasn’t enough. With the bracket...

JLT / OSC catch can question

Got one of these cans and the extension for our 2019 5.3 Tahoe. Need to put it on soon but have a question for those that have them. From the pics I’ve seen, the hoses look to be routed right in the way of the oil fill cap. It’s enough of a hassle trying to keep a funnel in position while...

    Tahoe rear door seal issue

Well, I let addressing this issue slip and it has now worn a slot thru the seal about 2” long. What I think is happening is when people get out of the back seat, they’re dragging their **** over the weather strip which causes it to come out of place about 1/8” - 1/4” and that’s enough to allow...

Front end squeak? Shocks or ball joints?

My wife’s ‘19 Tahoe had a squeak. Found it was the sway bar bushings. I dropped them loose and sprayed some lithium grease in them and it’s been quiet since. Post #15 in linked thread...

2016 Denali..Front end squeaks like an old mattress

My wife’s 2019 Tahoe (66k mi) developed this squeak last week. Was driving me NUTS. I sprayed the front sway bar bushings with fluid film externally hoping the Ff would find its way inside. It did reduce the squeak and confirm that was the source. Yesterday I changed the oil and decided to drop...

    Tahoe rear door seal issue

The wife's '19 Tahoe has issue often when kids close rear doors (mainly the RH door), it seems to drag on something and not close smooth. We've realized it's the door seal rubber that runs over the wheel well hump, right next to your hip if you're sitting in the RH seat. It's the rubber seal...

Its here.. Finally... WAMS Spec BCM Programming!

Did you ever get the rear camera while in motion figured out? Was searching for that. I’d love to be able to display the rear camera while driving. Would come in super handy while hauling dirt bikes on a utility trailer.

Are these oil filter part #’s being discussed here the ones I need for our ‘19 Tahoe 5.3? Assume so, but asking for confirmation.

    GM Transmission service

Years ago I owned a new 1999 OBS 1500 Z71. I had 2 friends with same gen GM trucks get their trans flushed and BOTH went out within a couple months. Pitman / Idler arm help needed

Installed the Z71 bumpstops today. Ride and driveability did improve with them, though not a BIG change, but can tell they feel better than the stock ones they replaced. Installed the 26025709 union fitting in the PS pump as called out in TSB #05-02-32-008B. GMPartsGiant shows the stock Union...

    front end rebuild question

I had all 4 balljoints replaced in my Yukon this past summer. I wish I would have just replaced the whole A-arm, prob would have been cheaper / same price and would have new A-arm bushings in them to boot.

Pitman / Idler arm help needed

Good point Larry. The truck sits 1" lower in front vs rear (35 1/2" FR / 36 1/2" RR) with stock size tires on it. I would imagine the front bump stops are like jello at 185K so I'll replace them soon as well, and likely try the Z71 bump stops as I've read they improve the ride.
