Your Vehicles as they sit now....

It is a 2wd. Has DJM arms in the front and 6" springs in the back that I am using a 1" spacer with. Probably 2.5/5 right now, running a 30" tire. I might add some 2" Belltech spindles and pull that 1" spacer out someday, take it to 4/6.

She is getting close, added the 05-06 front air dam and tinted the front two windows 35%(need to fix a chip in the windshield and then I'll get it done with 50% to help even it all out). Denali lights should be here tomorrow, got the stuff here to retro-fit with Mini H1 7.0s. That and some PDR...

New wheels today. 14+ Sierra 17x8 steelies with 275/60/17 420s. Can't get over how nice it feels compared to the 22s. Actually gets out of it's own way now, can't wait for some 4.30s.... Exterior is done aside from some retro'd Denali headlights and the 05-06 chin spoiler.

High mile craigslist find from last week...

Picked it up from the original owner that was selling to replace it with a new Silverado. Has about 209k now(just broken in, I know), needs a little going through but is overall well taken care of. 3/5 drop and some suspension rehab to follow. Looking to get rid of the 22x9.5 Daat DA51 wheels...

Just picked it up on Friday. Been lurking for 10 years now. Finally ended up with a full-size GM. 3/5, tint, and a mild paint correction to come soon.

Bilstein shock option for DJM -3" front arms

Hi all, Recently picked up a 04' RWD Yukon and am currently getting my part list together for a 3/5 setup to go with the 305/40r22s I have currently. I would like to use Bilstein shocks in the front and it appears the DJM front -3'' arms use a specific shock by design, lower eyelet mount and a...

    5.25 speakers, good enough midbass?

I mean if the 500.1 is in good shape it is worth it to go with that amp. 6500 rms lol... 2 BTLs wouldn't know what to do with themselves on that power haha. I am still interested in building a box for/with you if you want to go that route. I love big power installs. Did you decide on subs yet...

    5.25 speakers, good enough midbass?

I have suggestion for an amp then. The Crescendo Audio 3k. Will do a little over 4k at half ohm. Price includes shipping. Quality is right there with sundown... http://www.crescendoaudio.com/product.php?productid=17515 There speaker amp is also beautiful quality. It would be exactly what...

    5.25 speakers, good enough midbass?

I was just going to point out that if you were doing 4 pairs of 2 ohm comps on a 4ch, it would have to be wired at 4 ohms per channel, yielding you minumum power from the amp. Hell you might want to go active right now and go with raw drivers and not a bunch of comp sets since you could...

    5.25 speakers, good enough midbass?

Nice choice in headunit. You can get the PXA-h100 when you get the itch to go active and time correction and everything. Cool thing is that it is only $115.

    5.25 speakers, good enough midbass?

What amp/headunit you running? So if you're not after fatiguing levels, does that mean you're looking for a sound quality oriented system?

    5.25 speakers, good enough midbass?

You can fit two 6.5s in each front door. Two sets in just the front doors get plenty loud. I made custom door panels for my friend's blazer to put a set of phoenix gold comps in each door and it was difficult for me to listen to on some songs. I would look into doing a pair of 6.5s in each front...

Looks good. I still support you going to the dealership and picking up one of the late-model chin spoilers LOL. Would look that much lower but it is straight pimpin without it so it is cool either way. Kevin

DJM Trailblazer 5 inch plus Drop springs Review

So spindles will be needed in the front, along with keys to match up to the ~6'' drop in the back?

    thehoe92 Lowered 3/5

You'll enjoy the fuck out of a rear aftermarket swaybar. It will make a bigger noticeable difference in handling then the front would. It will be closer to neutral handling and the back end will come around easier.

    thehoe92 Lowered 3/5

Shock extenders just give you more usable travel for your shocks because the shock stops working 1-2'' before they bottom out.
