    Hvac experts 2009 Denali

Quick question for anyone that knows. How is the evaporator accessed on a 2009 Denali? Shop only charged 8 hours but had to remove the running boards to do it. It doesn't sound right. Only 8 hours, I'm thinking maybe my father-in-law only had evaporator lines replaced. Parts bill was $1700...

What did you do to your 21+ T1XX today?

I bought the GM floor mat set. I don't know who makes them for GM, but they fit really nice. 7 months later and they lay flat and no curled edges. I could use some door sill protection.

    Catalyst not ready issue

It being a 2021 also leaves the possibility that your battery is getting weak. It is possible that occasionally when starting the vehicle, the voltage drops enough to cause the emissions readiness to drop out. Once you get a scan tool that can see the catalyst monitors, you will be able to...

    DFM module for 2026

You can't just unplug the module. You have to remove it. It's not a module that plugs into the obd2 port under the dash . It is mounted on the ecu that is located under the left front inner fender. You would need to unplug the harness from the module, unplug the module from the ecu an reinstall...

    DFM module for 2026

It's not a simple unplug. Once you remove the module, the truck is back to stock status, with the exception of satisfactory evap relearn. This module is installed directly on the ecm port. The harness then piggybacked on the installed module.

    DFM module for 2026

2024 White Tahoe is correct. Even if they discover it, YOU can remove it and nothing may be said to affect your warranty. Especially if they want to ever sell you another vehicle. If I was going to bring it in for an ECM update, I would remove it.

I saw some of the testing they did with the Hurricane. Did they work out the high temperature issues? I hope you have better luck with the Hurricane engine.

3.6l pentastar? Yikes! I have one of those and waiting for the failure. The 3.0l is not much better.

    First 5,000 miles

We just hit the 5,000 mile mark ourselves with our HC. Supercruise is nice. Still has trouble with left highway exits. It does seem to bounce around on the highway, enough that I feel that I could get pulled over. I just help it a bit to prevent lane wander. No other issues that I could mention.

    AC Delco oil filter

I went to the dealer to get my pf63 filters. They gave me pf63a. They're clueless about the change. He suspected is was to combat the counterfeit pf63. Well, that is what I have to add.

    Latest OTA update?

Both of my updates were done in my garage. I do have wifi there and I left my phone in the truck. No issues.

    Range AFM module issue???

I let the Over the air update happen without removing the Range module. No notice of any thing odd. I also popped into the dealership for a cosmetic warranty job. They plugged into the OBD port to verify the vin with the warranty claim ( no errors this way). No issues with the Range module still...

First oil change at 1455 miles

That is what I pulled off. Why would the dealership give me pf63a when I asked for a pf63? Is there a shortage of pf63?

First oil change at 1455 miles

The pf63a is a bit shorter. A filter wrench is now required for the install and removal. I was able to grip the pf63 when I removed it. Getting a 3/4 rotation of the pf63a wasn't going to happen by hand.

First oil change at 1455 miles

Have you noticed a change in your oil pressure? I haven't thought much about the filter brand. I'm fine with OEM for now. Something I may consider at my next oil change.

First oil change at 1455 miles

I did my first oil change today. I picked up a few filters at my local dealership. They gave me pf63a for my 6.2l Tahoe. I removed a pf63 which is what did ask for at the dealer. It looks to be about 1/2 inch shorter than the pf63. Anyone else using a pf63a? It appears to be a silver quality...

    DFM module for 2026

I left the wheel on a straight. It would be easier to turn the wheel to the left, but not needed. 20 minute job not rushing it.

    DFM module for 2026

I saw a disassembly video of a failed 2021 6.2l with very low miles, almost new. The metal and dark oil in the pan was unbelievable. The crank main and rod bearings were heavily worn with debris damage. I hope the problem was solved for my 2026.

    6.2 engine problems

I have the Jeep pug 3.6l in my Gladiator. No problems yet. I see the misfire issues all the time on the forum. Like the 6 2l, you see more on forums that in real life. I bought the 2026 with the 6 2l hoping the issue was resolved. Ford has had their share too. I blame on the EPA mandates.
