CAI Exterior Vent?
I believe with my setup now and not having a shield over my CAI, I don't think it's sealed right and probably getting hot air from the engine. I took pics today and was going to add them, but with all the recent rain, she's dirty. Looks like 6 straight days of sun here in Michigan starting...- zkonrad001

CAI Exterior Vent?
I don't have a box around it yet, mine just didn't come with the top lid/shield, just the foam seal that I doubt it making anything close to airtight when I close my hood. I'm thinking instead of putting a vent on my car, altering the outside fender forever, I will put a shield on it and look...- zkonrad001

CAI Exterior Vent?
I have a CAI, performance MAF sensor, performance throttle body, MBRP exhaust, and Diablo tuner. My 2019 Tahoe rides and sounds great, not too loud, has a little extra power when needed, etc. My K&N CAI does not have a heat shield which I've been thinking about building one.
