I run ddm bulbs and ebay ballasts. Going 4 years strong. Their ballasts are kinda unreliable. My friends all had issues with DdM ballasts and at least 3 had to order new sets. My ebay ballasts lasted longer ironically.

Yeah you'd have to buy a pair of led reverse bulbs or do the hid reverse light mod. You can get a pair of bulbs from eBay for like $9 shipped. That's what I did with my driving lights. Like I said the plan I was/is to buy better housings but I haven't done it yet.

I would think you could find a factory box and put it in or just build one. There's probably something similar to a mtx thunderform or JL stealth box for it too

I would think a high output alt and 2 batts would be enough alone. However I'm not really familiar with the power consumption of an inverter. I know the alt alone would most likely handle the stereo with ease

Check your factory wiring. Maybe hook up a speaker directly to the radio and test that. I had some trouble with my factory wiring and ran everything from the h/u and eventually through an aftermarket amp. No more issues and much better sound imo

Hey this happens to me from time to time. An easier fix is to take out the radio fuse and radio amp fuse from the panel under the hood for a few seconds and pop em back in. Thought I was the only one with that problem. Figured it had something to do with the aftermarket audio equipment.

I've been wanting to do LEDs since I got my truck. Did you buy the climate controls with the LEDs already in it too?

Led tails. They look great at night. I love em.
I also put white led bulbs in my driving lights. I plan to change the housings for my headlights and driving lights to clear with black backing and possibly do projectors but I haven't bought any yet.
Here's the front:
I need to do mod em so...
I just bought a set of eBay smoked led tail lights and I love the look they have my Tahoe. I have a black 03 4x4. I'm at work but give me a SEC and ill try to go snap a pick. They looked perfect this morning when I was crunk up to come in just before sunrise

I'm a pioneer H/u type of guy...I don't care for sat radio but many of their h/u allow you to add on XM & Sirius if you choose too. You can try 1 of these

Not to down any companies but if you know what style box you want to go with (sealed, ported, 4th order, etc.) you can download one of the free programs like torres or winisd and crunch some numbers and design a box on your own and you can use Cad or google sketch up to get a visual idea of what...
I'd be down for a BB session. I thought about attempting to organize one earlier tis year but I don't have the best patience lately :lol2:
But I could possibly talk my 2 buddies into it. 2 of us have hoes and the other has a silvy and he's been wanting a tune anyway....but they may not want to...
Mostly audio:
~2200 rms monobock amp
~600 rms 4-channel
gonna add 2nd monoblock eventually and get a better 4-channel and considering an air horn for s&gs
Okay I've read (mostly) good reviews on DC alts but most people i see run the XP series. I want/need a bigger alt as I am scared to continue running my stock. So in short is the 220 amp DC power OEM series alternator up to par? I was also considering Power Bastards. Their reviews are mixed as...
I have the 4100 and I got mine to work by simply running an RCA cable from the aux video jack (yellow) to the rear of the h/u video output or something like that and it works. Just put the rear screen on aux and it'll play. Not sure if you can solder a wire to the aux or something to make it...
I didn't use a LOC. I'm assuming you're trying to keep your steering controls? I personally don't have any experience with it regardless. I used a basic wire harness from wal mart and lost out on the steering controls but everything else (chimes and what not) was kept in tact. I always buy...
Oh and back on topic (I'm really just getting started):
-Big 3 in 1/0
-pioneer avh 4100 (plan to get a 4300 soon)
-4 pioneer coaxials (soon to be replaced with components)
-4 extra tweets
-cadence 4-channel
-600w RF amp (waiting on my AQ2200 to be repaired)
-2-15" Memphis Mojos (blk models) in...
