I ordered Bilstein shocks for a z71 along with Bilstein 5100s for a z71 and it worked out pretty good. The zw7 package is an investing package. The springs are a softer spring and the shocks are stiffer than normal. The ride was much better on the Bilsteins but the ride height was a little lower...
I don't have a close up picture of the problem right now. I'm not sure about the bolts and which ones were used. I had a very reputable shop in town install it so I'm sure they're there. 5100's are being put on now so we'll see if that fixed my problem. If not, I'm thinking of looking into...
It wasn't too awful hard when I did mine. A pretty tight reach though.
On your valance, did you pay the horrendous shipping price for it? I saw where the one I wanted was only $100 and got excited. Then I made it to checkout and saw that shipping was $68!!
That looks good man. Not having puddle lights has been one if not the only thing keeping me from getting tow mirrors. Not anymore!! Did you get some specifically for 2000-2002? I've got an 01 and they're hard to find for me.
Have you thought about putting the smaller bar on the front side of your bumper? I put a 20inch on the front of my bumper. I made some brackets that fit on the backside of the vent things on the bumper cap and I kinda like it. Best part is I didn't have to drill holes in anything.
Second...
X2 I've got one and it makes life much easier. I use it more than I ever thought I would. But I'm 190lbs and I wouldn't hesitate to get on my roof. I cleaned it before that way. Getting up there isn't the problem, getting down is.
I really don't know what I want to do about it. If I swap out the spacer for a 2 inch, I'm afraid that the Hoe wouldn't fit in the garage. She doesn't like sleeping outside. Lol. What do you think? I kinda like the squat look but tucking 35s that close isn't fun for pulling a trailer.
I've got the Ready Lift 2.5F and 1R kit on the ole Hoe and after putting some BMFs and 35s I was doing some trimming and noticed that my passenger side tie rod is rubbing on what I believe is the front sway bar. I just had the whole front end reworked back in Feb. So other than a 6 inch lift or...
Welcome John, I see you accidentally posted this in the 15+ section. Keep scrolling and you'll see the 2000-2006 section. As for your question, check out theseatshop.com and throw your truck info in there. I used their armrest covers about a year or two ago and do not regret it at all. I will...
When I got my hoe about 3 years ago, she got an average of 10.5 per tank. And I drive about 50/50 too. I did the swiss cheese mod, bought a Bully Dog, and aired up my tires good. It helped a lot on the crappy mpgs. I'm averaging 13 in town and about 15-17 at 65-75 on the bypass.
After having to swap them out a few times, I gave up on tape, I then tossed them behind a piece of ABS and they're just chilling behind there somewhere no problems :hands:
I've just got a Bully Dog and a flowmaster. With the swiss cheese mod and I pulled a little over 3 tons of feed and hay through the hills of Arkansas a couple of weeks ago. Pulled great. No problems accelerating and pulling though hills. Thats on the performance setting, I forgot to switch to...
I had some on my non-z71 they worked well but gave it a mall crawler appearance, so I took them off only to discover they rubbed the paint off. Which they were on for about a decade. Depends on what style you want.
I swapped out the festoon bulb for a 4410 HP6 from superbright. I changed the dome lights when I did. Even with them being red, they're bright as hell and I get compliments on them all the time.
I like toyos. Ive got BFG KM2s on mine and theyre great, I just like toyos looks better. For rims, I like BMF and Fuel. The new XD's arent too bad, rockstar 2's are nice looking.
