low hanging independent rear suspension any problems
I went with the idea that a 2021 Sierra 1500 is same frame as 2021 Yukon Denali and bought a 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 front hitch from etrailer.com. Mine is 6.2L gas but not sure the engine type (gas or diesel) matters as a frame is a frame as long as there's nothing in the way where it goes...- tagexpcom

Keep power running boards extended

It's a tough decision as you don't know what will happen in the future. Even if you get something else, it may have trouble as well. Operating Temps
My 2021 Yukon Denali, 6.2L runs 210F Coolant - rock steady. Transmission ranges from ~160-170F (normal, flat highway, 60mph) and as high as ~200F towing that 5500lb trailer up a 10mile mountain incline. A week spot while towing showed up during stop-go (literally 1mph for almost 40minutes)...- tagexpcom

First, my sympathies to those failures, and the ensuing hassle being stranded - no denying this! Don't blame anyone for moving to different rig. Battery dying on my 2023 Yukon Denali
My 2021 Yukon Denali has same issue. Can only go 5,6, sometimes 7 days before it's risky to start. Good point! I did not specify when front brakes were replaced at 49K but I know they were not 'OEM GM', some other brand. I've been using this shop for over 10yrs and they have been as honest as anyone - but even an honest shop might go cheaper or not know that the brand was not 100% up to...- tagexpcom
