    Retrofit had the hid kit so not as good as this is still an incandescent bulb. Once I get a nice hid kit in there and get the tilt and height adjustment tweaked I'll post some comparison pics.

    About as hard as any retrofit from an eagle eye set I suppose. That would be sick to retrofit some good square projectors in there instead of replacing the shroud and projector with a round one. But thanks I like the overall look too!

    Yea I need to adjust the tilt of the headlights and how high/low the beam is still. Once I get that tweaked I'll take some that's a good idea though.

    Yea I took out a retrofit projector to put these in. I know it would take a lot of work to cut out the projector and add my own shroud and all that. It's really for down the road.     it's a plasma tube not led and it's not that big honestly I just have it all close up. But I feel ya it's not for everyone thanks for the input. This pic shows how they're really not big at all relative to the size of the headlight.

    I wanted to make a new thread on this to see if people like or dislike this. I took out the retrofit projectors for this. Future plan is possibly upgrade projector and put philips HID kit in for low beam. Thoughts? I know Serge hates it already lol.

    It was difficult to figure out and is not intuitive at all. I own an 05 z71 tahoe and yes it comes out, it's just a ***** to get out. I recommend spraying down the metal connection parts with WD-40 that helped me a lot as mine were kind of stuck.

    I have one for the newer one and have an older glass with the rubber trim around the perimeter of the glass. Even though mines a 2005. It's definitely killing me inside but it looks good and the 3m tape I used is the same on door mouldings so it's not going anywhere.
