Would i need the clockspring from the escalade just to make just the heated portion work? Would the rest of the buttins still work with the tahoe clockspring?
You can pick one up on ebay for $15-$20 and program it yourself. Super easy. Most of them come with instructions but going through the options on your dash's info center basically tells you how to do it.

You're basically removing and replacing parts. If someone has the right tools they should be able to do it. The free travel mod is the trickiest part and it's not even that bad. Just gotta watch out for the fuel tank when cutting the brackets off.
I've tried many brands of springs and these have been my favorite. They're a little stiffer than the stock springs but not bouncy like the cheap ones out there. There really isn't much of a difference in ride. The drive and ride is great.
