    My Tahoe just got here

I can report a similar experience: I put a deposit down on a Yukon Denali 6.2 (Premium, Max Tow, Prem Capability Package 4x4 and second row bench) on 11/30 and it was built on Monday this week (1/24). Edit to add: @Clearmax Congrats on your new ride!

Trying to purchase a Denali but ending up with IOUs. Should I drop down?

Wow, did I luck out. Build date was 1/24 but confirmed I’ve got parking sensors and rear emergency braking.

Trying to purchase a Denali but ending up with IOUs. Should I drop down?

@suburbansince87 Did your invoice sheet show any of those non-installed options? I may be in the clear as the invoice shows those options.

Trying to purchase a Denali but ending up with IOUs. Should I drop down?

Ugh- it shows now on the GMC Yukon Denali build site that: Certain vehicles built on or after 1-24-2022 will not be equipped with Front and Rear Park Assist and Reverse Automatic Braking Feature will not function on certain models without dealer retrofit, expected Q4, 2022 Contact a dealer for...

Looking for a Denali/6.2L Stock Exhaust

@ljn21 what happened to your factory exhaust? Did you buy a Yukon with aftermarket and don’t like it? I’ve got a factory exhaust that will be available in mid Feb possibly as I ordered a GM performance exhaust.

“Heater Performance Mode Active” Message / Extreme Cold Outside

Interesting message! Living in the Twin Cities, my 21’ Yukon Denali hasn’t really seemed much-affected by temperature. I have an air-ride equipped Vehicle and haven’t really noticed much impact due to temp changes. I do keep it garaged so perhaps that could be the difference.

    2022 Z71 Suburban 6.2L bent lifters

@AmazinglySmooth I LOL’ed at your username. I’m mortified to hear this is happening to the 22’s. It would be curious to see if there’s any chance that engine is actually somehow from the 21’ builds or with 21’ parts as correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t the 22’s start production right around the...

    New Lifter Club Member

Yes, the dealer does an oil change as part of this repair. We’ll at least they did with my Yukon Denali with lifter failure at 12,995 miles. They only replaced one bank and I fought like you wouldn’t believe to GMC Corporate to step in and either offer the other bank to be replaced or an...

New 2022 Z71 Tahoe, and I need snow tires

I posted this response in another thread but it’s applicable here: Best snow tire in my opinion (non-studded as not legal here in MN) is the Bridgestone Blizzak DMV-2. I put 10’s of thousands of miles on in the winter in the northern Midwest as part of my sales territory and have found these...

    21 Denali interior rattles.

Yessir on the dash rattle here. Mine was coming from the middle and it was the center speaker contacting the bracket holding it in place or something along those lines. They supposedly adjusted it, added foam, then test drove to ensure the rattle increased. They were 100% effective in their...

Shudder from a stop to a slow start, then foot off gas?

My Yukon is at the dealer for service now. I took the shop foreman for a ride and he immediately said it’s due to a bulletin about the transfer case fluid needing replacement. We made it less than 50 yards in the parking lot when he exclaimed that. I’ll report back with the actual documented...

    Turn signal audio too low?

Mine cuts out too, just when turning left. I’ve got a service appt in to check on it.

Which build months are safe from lifter problems?

I’m hopeful that’s the case and I don’t get left stranded again. All I can compare to is the sensation I had when I first noticed an issue and that was a very similar shudder to what I’m experiencing now at idle. It’s really strange how my engine initially acted about 15 min before completely...

Which build months are safe from lifter problems?

When I had lifter failure at 12,995 miles, I had a very slight shudder in the engine when coming down from highway sustained speed. The vehicle almost felt like something spun around the driveshaft. It then operated normally for the next 15-20 min then all hell broke loose as I rolled in to...

Which build months are safe from lifter problems?

I’ve got an interesting slight shudder developing at idle which I’m curious is the start of another litter issue. I’ll be taking it in on the 28th and reporting back here what they find.

2021 Z71 Tahoe Transmission Problem, Recalls etc...

@TMHincks My 2021 Yukon Denali had a “wrinkle” in the seal of the transmission housing (or something along those lines) which caused a huge amount of tranny fluid to leak out right at around 350 miles on the odometer. It required a tow back to the dealership and aside from my lifters going out...

Shudder from a stop to a slow start, then foot off gas?

I discovered a potential issue while I’m in AWD in my 21 Yukon Denali. While slowly rolling to a stop sign in a row of cars, I was giving it slight gas then quickly taking my foot off the pedal. There was a noticeable shutter in the drivetrain and/or transmission. Anyone here feel this before...

LOL- literally me too. Grew up in Flint. It’s “a GREAT place ‘to be from!’”

    275/65R20 Winter Tires?

Best snow tire in my opinion (non-studded as not legal here in MN) is the Bridgestone Blizzak DMV-2. I put 10’s of thousands of miles on in the winter in the northern Midwest as part of my sales territory and have found these tires to be the best. I had a set of Nokian HAKKAPELIITTA R2’s on a...

Lifter Issues on ‘21s Being Delivered to Dealers

Cross-posting in this thread as I saw it after the other thread: Their Corporate response to me in addressing my lifter failure at 12,995 miles on my 21 Denali, which stranded me 400 miles from home is “we’re sorry you were inconvenienced and understand your frustration. Please accept 200,000...

Is this the dreaded lifter issue

Unreal. Their Corporate response to me in addressing my lifter failure at 12,995 miles on my 21 Denali is “we’re sorry you were inconvenienced and understand your frustration. Please accept 200,000 My GMC Rewards points to feel better.” My repeated requests for an extended powertrain warranty...
