I didn't get any updated but just got the error again. When I first got mine in December 2020 it had the issue weeks after I started driving it and all they did was pull fuses 61 and 68 under the hood for a few seconds and it reset the system, I just did it again myself as the error popped up...
How many miles? My 2010 with the 5.3 is at 266,000 miles and I reprogrammed it to run in 4cyl mode more often and no issues, it doesn't even need oil added between changes.
I have had my 2021 since December 2020 in that time I have taken my 2010 that is now at 266,000 miles on more road trips. My 2010 has never stranded me anywhere I wish I could just buy it over again.
It sounds like an air leak there aren't any motors in the wheel/suspension area, probably the air suspension piston for that wheel is leaking as the system is commanding higher pressure to level the car. If you are stationary and tell it to raise the vehicle I would suspect it does the same...
I understand but if me doing my first ever automatic transmission rebuild (since I mostly run manuals) now has over 70k miles on it since I did it I would hope anyone with experience could do a good job. What was the failure on yours? Did it just lose drive or what?
Yes I see that but if he cannot find a tranny there aren't many options. He didn't say where he was but the 6l80 is a very common tranny and any major metroplex would have parts in stock for a rebuild. For the difference in price he could rent a car.... New Trannies aren't cheap.
Why not just take it somewhere to have it rebuilt? I rebuilt the 6L80 in my 2010 Tahoe after a torque converter lock failure it wasn't even that bad of a rebuild so a shop with experience will get it done, worst part for me was doing it on jack stands since I don't yet have a lift and I got it...
I have a 2010 that is flex fuel that I did a lot of tuning on myself and finally got it to get decent mileage on E85, the factory tune does not take advantage of the high octane of E85 mine got like 12-13mpg on E85 with the factory tune. I took 3 trips in it last year from DFW to Missouri and...
My 21 has the brake controller my 2010 doesn't. I only ever pulled one heavy thing with my 2010 and it was a heavy car trailer with a 3800 pound car on it so probably about 5800 pounds total. I had no issues towing the car 4 hours away just pay attention and don't follow close, I maintained...
I noticed mine are wearing the outer edge of the front tires like it is toed out. I have 17K on mine so was going to rotate them to even it out. I align my own cars so i need to check it and see how the alignment is I just never paid attention to it since my 2010 I never had an alignment issue...
I haven't used Auto on my 2021 but my past models you could always tell when Auto was engaged and I only let my ex wife use it when bad outside (I never put in Auto). Even her would notice it seemed funny and I would tell her "you still have it in Auto".
Not that I am complaining because it didn't activate but might be a sign of another issue. I went out for lunch to get some food about 10 minutes away, fully warmed up and the a/c was off had the window down so usually it shuts off for a long time in this case, never shut down. Same thing...
When I park in my driveway that has a slight incline the parking brake automatically engages. Sometimes when I go to back out of the driveway it disengages as soon as switch out of park but not all the time. Why does the parking brake sometimes disengage automatically and other times doesn't?
Yesterday on my wife's drive home the battery light came on, I checked it with my multimeter and it was overcharging at 15 volts all the time. I found this thread so pulled this plug and it fixed the issue and the alternator dropped down to 14.5V and the warning light went away. So this can...
This is a case of not turning on the compressor. My 2010 tahoe never has had this issue in 257k miles I know how quickly it should start to cool off. I live in Texas and the times the 2021 did this were as a stated was not even a hot day here and it doesn't do it all the time so it is...
Ok thanks. Ya I figured if I took it to the dealer it would be a waste of time unless I found out some others found the real issue. Since the dealer will just say "it gets cold".
Twice in the last week when I started mine up the air is blowing out of the vents but definitely not cooling at all for like 30-45 seconds it is clearly just ambient air no cooling. Both times is was around 80 degrees outside. I had a friend complain in the back seat that it was blowing hot...
Mine sometimes now after being shut off it will lower 2 times about 5 seconds apart. I do not have it set to auto lower when stopped and it was not raised either it was in the normal position so it shouldn't have moved anyway.
Anyone else getting some funny behavior?
