What’s up guys
Thinking about getting some new shoes for the chariot. Need some opinions
2007 GMC Yukon XL 2500 stock suspension. Would level if I absolutely had to but would rather not.
I’d like to get some larger more aggressive looking AT tires so take that into consideration...
Remotes are all brand new. And it only happened the one time.
Chasing the noise/noises I Replaced :
**Serpentine belt (ACDelco)
**AC belt (ACDelco)
**Tensioner & pulley (ACDelco)
**Idler pulley (ACDelco)
**Starter (ACDelco)
**Alternator (Duralast)
And now it doesn’t make a peep starting up...
Its like Christmas over here. Just looked outside my door and there it was a fresh brand spanking new AC Delco starter.
And yea I will definitely not be remote staring my truck until I get that thing checked out.
Forget 250k I’m looking to get 500k

Your 100% right. The AC Delco 337-1033 is one of the “alternate” part numbers that fits My truck.
Called the dealer today and got a much more helpful and knowledgeable sales guy.
What he told me is the original starter for my truck is # 323-1637. And all that’s available is the reman.
What...
I just placed the order will arrive Thursday. The truck starts fine with the key. Haven’t tried again with the remote starter.

I know that’s what gets Me. If it was brand new no problem. But to charge that much more for a reman just doesn’t make sense. The core charge doesn’t bother me so much. From a reliability standpoint do you think the AC delco reman is a good choice? Any of them?

Rockauto has a few different ACDelco models that will fit my truck. Looking over the specs they are all very close to the OE model. I’m wondering if it matters. They also show that most people buy the top 3 aftermarket ones.

Yea that’s the exact part.
I just can’t get past paying that much for a Re man part. You really think it’s that much better than an aftermarket starter?

I just called My local GM dealer. The exact replacement starter is ACDelco # 323-1637 which is a higher output than the one from Rocauto & Amazon.

Im going to do the starter today. What brand do you think is best? Readily available I can get
ACDelco reman $135
Duralast gold $159
O’Reilly’s around $100
If I wait a day I can also get a brand new ACDelco from the dealer $288 plus tax.

So the issue is with the remote start module.
Not the starter?
What about the 2nd video. You have any idea what that could be.

Yea I posted it in the wrong section. It’s an 07 in the 14 isle. On the plus side it’s a 2500 so hopefully the forum Gods forgive my transgression.
The first and second video are definitely different noises.
The belt chirp kind of noise started first a few days ago. But again it’s...
What's up guys.
I need some assistance here.
tried to use the factory remote start this morning and it made this noise and did not start.
Got in the truck and it started right up.
2007 GMC Yukon XL 2500 with 204k
This happened to me 2 days before my fuel pump took a Sh#% on my 04 Yukon. Have no idea if this is some kind of “tell” forecasting that.
