Open Box Intake
So, just a new tube to remove the plenum? Well, yes, obviously, but, aside from the cost savings (less material), there's gotta be a reason KN, S&B, etc, leave the cone exposed rather than covering it.- MrTris

Your issue could be resolved with this : https://a.co/d/iCI0pVs It's basically (probably cheaper!) the same price you'd pay for an AC service, but, you'd be able to do it whenever you wanted, again and again. Run the AC on recirc, set the ozone generator for an hour or so, roll up the windows... -

Bumping this, as I'm looking at doing a retrofit, myself. First off, a 50-55w ballast and bulb won't make it burn hotter or whiter - quite the opposite - color temps, in Kelvin, are quoted at 35w and, at 55w, are yellower, not whiter, by about a whole step. Ex: 5500k at 35w drops closer to... -
Middle row captain's chairs removal
It honestly looked like a whole chore. In order to make room for the dogs, I ended up zip tieing the pull strap on the seat to the headrest post on each front seat. I had found that one of the seats was coming back down on acceleration, and needed a solution, and that was what I came up with. -

I also had this issue and discovered that it was partly that weird belt holding it up. The motor doesn't like any resistance - did you check that? -

It's hot, here, now, but, otherwise just meh/mid most of the time, save for a few weeks in winter where it's REALLY cold. I could probably be safe with 0w20, but, will just up to 5 after I move to the sticks in The South..- MrTris
