What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Finally got my car sold, yesterday, so, I immediately bought everything I'd had my Amazon cart. Summit was gonna take too long for the same stuff.. KN NextGen intake J&L AOS (Corsa was actually $20 cheaper at Summit, and in stock!) Phillips HIDs (stock box of light is cool, but, I NEED...

    Open Box Intake

So, just a new tube to remove the plenum? Well, yes, obviously, but, aside from the cost savings (less material), there's gotta be a reason KN, S&B, etc, leave the cone exposed rather than covering it.

    Open Box Intake

Lot of discussion on intakes, I get it. I see alot of you guys say, "Oh, if it's sucking air from the engine bay, it's a HOT air intake!" OK, that's fair, I been doing this long enough to understand where you're coming from, BUT, I'm seeing just about every brand has an open box at the top...

What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Couple weeks ago, discovered an unopened box of Morimoto 2 Stroke 9005 LEDs (I've built a few setups in my day, really caked up in 2018, so, I bought a ton of lights) in my box of Retrofit parts. Finally got to inspecting the high beams on the Denali, and, lo and behold - they're 9005s! I put...

Flushing or cleaning A/C on 2017 Tahoe

Your issue could be resolved with this : https://a.co/d/iCI0pVs It's basically (probably cheaper!) the same price you'd pay for an AC service, but, you'd be able to do it whenever you wanted, again and again. Run the AC on recirc, set the ozone generator for an hour or so, roll up the windows...

    2019 6.2 First Engine Mods

Still new - VLOM? Can you tell me more about these block offs, or direct me to a thread where I could learn? It's been like, wow, a whole decade since I was banned from my last forum, so, my forum-fu is a bit off (that and things have changed from phpbb back in the day) but, what would I look...

2019 Yukon Denali OEM HID Ballast Upgrade

I use exclusively Morimoto - owned by TRS out of ATL, so, shipping shouldn't be an issue. They've got just about anything you would need, unless it's some super esoteric deal, which, I kinda doubt. A little on the pricey side, but, I've done about 5 different setups with Mori parts, over the...

2019 Yukon Denali OEM HID Ballast Upgrade

Bumping this, as I'm looking at doing a retrofit, myself. First off, a 50-55w ballast and bulb won't make it burn hotter or whiter - quite the opposite - color temps, in Kelvin, are quoted at 35w and, at 55w, are yellower, not whiter, by about a whole step. Ex: 5500k at 35w drops closer to...

    Middle row captain's chairs removal

It honestly looked like a whole chore. In order to make room for the dogs, I ended up zip tieing the pull strap on the seat to the headrest post on each front seat. I had found that one of the seats was coming back down on acceleration, and needed a solution, and that was what I came up with.

    Middle row captain's chairs removal

I looked, doesn't look like anyone's asked this, but, I'm new and probably not using the right terminology.. I want to take the middle row captain's chairs out of my 2019 Denali. I've pulled back the carpet, found two 18mm nuts (GM did good with the stud design on these!) but, I'm following...

3rd row seat won't lay flat

I also had this issue and discovered that it was partly that weird belt holding it up. The motor doesn't like any resistance - did you check that?

    2019 6.2 First Engine Mods

There sure are - I read enough threads to get a few names and I see those guys did chime in - pretty cool. Threw some Valvoline R&P 5w-20 in the cart, and I think I've reached a conclusion on the intake and catch can, just need to recover from the purchase a week ago, before I start throwing...

    2019 6.2 First Engine Mods

RE : Catch cans.. What's a good robust option? I'm a Buy Once, Cry Once kinda guy.. Still didn't get a straight answer on the MMO - good idea, or nah? I'll be ordering the Range and a good hitch, here, soon.

    2019 6.2 First Engine Mods

It's hot, here, now, but, otherwise just meh/mid most of the time, save for a few weeks in winter where it's REALLY cold. I could probably be safe with 0w20, but, will just up to 5 after I move to the sticks in The South..

What are the, "other options" than the Range, then? What's everyone else using with good results? No need to reinvent the wheel, here..

    2019 6.2 First Engine Mods

Hola, bishes! SECOND post (I used my Virgin post to chirp, lol) first question. Got a neat 2019 Yukon Denali (built for the Canadian market, according to the dual-language door jamb sticker ) with just about 63k on it and I been looking and reading, just wanted some clarification on some...

Magnaflow 12589 REVIEW: The Perfect " Dad Bod " of Exhaust Setup.

Hi, Early 00s forum vet, here. OP got me with, "DadBod," stayed because he writes likes I do. In my day we said, "TTIWWOP," or just, "Tittywор."
