@OBSalsoNNBS I feel it. My Costco oil was delayed in the mail so I went to a local place for an oil change and they but this tiny little filter on it looks almost half the size of a beer can.
@OBSalsoNNBS I can’t tell the difference between oils, the oil filter seems to make the biggest impact. I’ve used all kinds of cheap oil as long as it’s full synthetic Dexos rated 5w-30. Costco just seems to have the best price
@JKaechler If you are in the middle of the tune with BlackBear I say work with them on this and then come back here if the problem isn't resolved through them. If you do fix the problem please update your post here in case anyone else has this problem we can tell them where to start looking.
3 inches of lift does put them at a bad angle.
You could try new axles and see how long they last.
Longer axles or a diff drop might be the right way to proceed
Costco is selling 12 quarts of oil for $35, I just got 4 oil changes worth for $75 shipped.
Thought it was a good deal wanted to share

This will give you a ball park estimate but between different brands of tires, tread wear, and even the PSI in their tires it's hard to get an apple to apple comparison with tahoes over the internet
@Doubeleive My statement might apply to you too lol
Seems there are two types of people in this world, those who haven't broken a 4l60e and then those that have broken multiple
@osirus5164 If you don’t mind me asking, how much was the DIY rebuild? I am coming up on 210k miles on the 4l60e and I’ve started putting a fund together for when it dies. No signs of it giving out yet fingers crossed
@JKaechler It's hard to tell from your comment but a broken motor mount can cause a similar sensation if you don't have visual confirmation the problem is something else.
I will say that the G80 is usually good, but if you find yourself blowing up diffs it might not be the diffs fault
@thefrey $3k for a Yukon from a dealership is a crazy low price, even for a shady car lot. I suspect they knew about this.
At this point I would start looking and saving for a new motor and continue to drive this one until it dies
@Katie0402 The oil pressure was only a concern after you tried to fix the oil leak? I wonder if the wiring to the oil pressure sensor was damaged. You could connect a mechanical oil pressure gauge to verify the oil pressure is ok and then try to hunt down why the sensor is reading that way
@bcbickers It depends on which year, the molding changes on the 2010 models. My 08 z71 handles have silver center parts and matt/satin black outer parts.
Notice the side molding and handles on my 08 Z71, the molding has no dimples with silver and black handles, and silver accent side mirrors...
@Foggy I'm with you, it's financially and morally responsible for us to drive em until we can't.
I am overall happy with the Mevotech parts, out of all the parts I RMA'd I think it was the lower balljoint the whole time but fingers crossed. Rock auto has some new nice stuff I went with the new...
@swathdiver After the AFM delete, oil pump, and o-ring it didn't change the oil pressure but I did end up using a standard oil pump instead of the high flow or high volume options so it's possible that a different pump would have given better results but I am satisfied with the numbers I have
