    Service Leveling System

I’m scheduled for next week to see my dealer for service on ours so hopefully something fruitful will come of it.

Saw this from a distance, and then I pulled up on it…. The V means Bad Ass Ride look at the both right corner

As a veteran myself I have a military service license plate on my vehicle but that’s as far as I would go to advertise, I didn’t even like to display a lot of military stuff while I was active at all other than the base sticker but some did and do. I’ve never been the one to plaster a bunch of...

    Occasional "Service Leveling System" Messages

I got this same message yesterday for the first time on our ‘25 Tahoe HC.

    Service Leveling System

I also just got this message on the DIC screen yesterday for the first time and again today and we haven’t done any towing or carried any heavy loads. The message has come up on the display usually after parking as the air suspension will not lower to its easy exit/entry level by exhausting the...

    Random Electronics Questions

The gear indicates only while in manual mode meaning you can hit the L, for low gear, on the steering and this will display your current selected gear which you can then adjust up or down with the + or - paddles on the backside of the steering wheel. This can also be used to lockout gear hunting...

    Question about 25/26 Tahoe

As others have said the front seats stay greyed out when buckled with driver/passenger or no front passenger onboard and the rear displays a green check mark when occupants are buckled up but displays a red X whenever they’re not occupied or buckled up.

Does Knapp Extended warranty negotiate pricing at all?

I stand corrected on my previous statement as I was recently informed that yes the mileage can be extended past 100k miles on a GMPP Platinum coverage as long as it’s before the 12 month 12k miles of ownership has occurred. This was told to me by Knapp Automotive’s rep mentioned in the earlier...

    GM dropping CarPlay

    GM dropping CarPlay

I also downloaded my radar and it definitely came in handy while traveling. For more than 10 years now Mary Barra and her team has brought GM out of the good ol boys and don’t upset the apple cart era to make GM profitable and their vehicles more competitive and respectable plus the...

    GM dropping CarPlay

I like Apple CarPlay but it can be annoying sometimes as it stumbles or freezes up sometimes since it is in essence just a projection from our phones to the infotainment screen. It hasn’t happened yet in the ‘25 HC. I don’t care for it enough to NOT be a GM customer in the future but the thing...

V Escalade - Loud at Startup

The regular Escalade is practical for families with small kids, the Escalade V is not the choice for the typical family transport unless you’re looking for more performance in your lifestyle so you should have known what came with that choice.

V Escalade - Loud at Startup

I put a dual exhaust with turbo mufflers on my ‘78 C10 Bonanza back in the day, sweet mellow sound cruising and a deeper voice at full throttle.

V Escalade - Loud at Startup

When I had my Camaro ZL1 one the first things I did after purchase was to pull the fuse for the exhaust valves so they would always be fully opened. Now I believe the newer GM performance models have more controls to customize the multiple modes in the exhaust than I had back then. 3:30 in...

Does Knapp Extended warranty negotiate pricing at all?

I’ve yet to see GM go beyond 100k mile coverage for its factory backed warranty unless it’s for an issue related to a known issue or recall. I received an extended warranty coverage on my Camaro ZL1’s supercharger/engine due to a defect in the superchargers shaft assembly as they were changing...

    2025 Tahoe/Suburban/Yukon Connected Camera Feature

We have the Surround Vision Recorder app already installed just like we have the Ambient Lighting app but we just need to have it activated. GM Connected Camera Service is in the permissions info section of the app.

    2025 Tahoe/Suburban/Yukon Connected Camera Feature

So this is possibly a good thing for us ‘25 model year owners so maybe all we’ll need is a software push to get the app to work in our cars minus the interior camera that we don’t have installed.

Any regrets not getting a Suburban/XL instead of Tahoe/Yukon?

You must have the executive second row seating package, which is why your captain chairs don’t fold down like the standard ones do.

Any regrets not getting a Suburban/XL instead of Tahoe/Yukon?

The rear doors on the Suburban/Yukon XL has always been a straight cut door design that finishes just in front of the rear wheel wells unlike the Tahoe’s and Yukon’s but this T1 generation has grown exponentially.

Any regrets not getting a Suburban/XL instead of Tahoe/Yukon?

I grew up driving pickup trucks as a youngster and my first personal truck was a regular cab long bed ‘78 Chevy C10 Bonanza so I’m pretty use to the length of the Suburbans and Yukon XL. The Suburban in those days had the same wheelbase of the regular cab long bed trucks at I believe 131”. If...

    2025 Tahoe/Suburban/Yukon Connected Camera Feature

Now that it’s actually available in the flesh so to speak, we can get this installed since most of the hardware that we need to complete our vehicles will be stocked going forward and software updates should be available also. Fingers crossed.
