    All this troubleshooting for random issues makes me wonder. Is there a scanner that can record live driving data? I have had weird issues over the years that are very difficult to diagnose. Several of you have mentioned monitoring the data while driving. I know very little about these scanners...

    Same here. Found a very low mileage 17 Tahoe Premier and pulled the trigger last year. I'm very happy with the vehicle and it is a joy to drive.

    Had an 05 Suburban and it also had the clunk. Never did figure it out, but it was definitely somewhere in the steering. The wife tangled with a big rig a few months ago and the insurance company totalled the Burb. So my clunk will have to remain a mystery.

    Costco has many different weights in full synthetic, but not the 0w-40 yet. Good price though and its always in stock.

    Just went through the exact same issue with my 05 Suburban. It was an insurance claim, and the glass shop could not find an OEM piece of glass anywhere - they said it was out of production. So they used aftermarket windows and everyone of them leaked (3 of them) when washing the vehicle...
