    Here’s a Yukon intake you haven’t seen before ;) I used a 50’s Cadillac “Batwing” style air cleaner and created a plenum below it to duct in the intake elbow. It’s sort of a statement piece for the engine compartment, and of course it had to get a laser cut stainless steel “Radillac” emblem.

    There’s a small module on my negative battery cable that connects to a plug on the engine harness. I currently have this unplugged and it doesn’t seem to cause an issue, but does anyone know its purpose? Looks to be an induction sensor but don’t know what it’s purpose is. Thanks!

    Modified the dash to make the Yukon gauges look like individual steam type gauges….oh, and added a little Frankenstein in the mix :)

    I’m using a 2008 Yukon Denali for the base of my 1941 Cadillac project and it will not have airbags. Does anyone know if ECU (or BCM) can be programmed to turn off airbag warnings? I’m also getting park assist errors, I’m not sure f that can fixed or turned off. Thanks for any insight you may have!

    Shortened my driveshaft to match my shortened frame. Time will tell if it needs re-balancing. I used 1-1/2 angle tacked to the shaft prior to cutting. This maintains u-joint clocking and helps align for welding. I put another piece of angle over the cut pieces and clamped it for the weld.

    Fuel pump question

    I have my tank out and figured I’d replace the fuel pump while it’s out. I see most swear by AC Delco pumps, but I see Bosche makes one also. Has anyone had issues with a Bosche pump? In my other car circles Bosche is highly respected for fuel pumps.

    I was going to use a GMC Envoy but I thought the Yukon was just a better base. It will be a little more difficult due to the width of the firewall, but I seem to gravitate to challenges…..in other words, I’m stupid :)

    It will be getting a different body. It’s getting a 1941 Cadillac and I had to change the length to accommodate the new body. I will be using the floor pan and firewall from the Yukon and grafting the Cadillac body to them.

    Cut my Yukon XL in half and removed 12” from the frame, then welded it back together and added fishplates for additional strength. Now it’s a little longer than a Yukon and a little shorter than an XL.
