Is this one of those installed where you fear you are going to break the parts you need to remove?
I used a 5k tar tune on my previous vehicle but I don’t think there are tunes for the 3.0 diesel.
I’m at 5,600 miles and 17.8 MPG. The level kit and 24” wheels with nitto terras really do put a hurt on the mileage.
I do get 20-21 driving around suburbia at 45mph.
As mentioned above, apparently my 24 inch vossens, 35 inch nittos and level kid kill the mileage.
That said, it still is random sometimes.
Last week I had a 350 mile round trip the same afternoon/evening. Identical conditions. One way I got 16.5 mpg, the other way 20.1.
My lumbar support resets to full balloon bulge each time I start up nowadays. I’ve reset my memory settings, changed keys, but no bueno.
Anyone else deal with lumbar - or any seat setting - reverting to some strange setting upon start each time?
Economy still leaves a lot to be desired at 3,500 miles.
Drove about 600 miles the past several days and haven’t gotten better than 17ish on the highway. Yikes.
Today for example:
- see picture, 100 miles at 70-80 mph
- rpms around 1400-1600
- cruise control on
- no wind, 55 degrees out...
These DEF gauges are crap. Just yesterday:
- I put 2.5 gallons in at 2,500 miles
- drove 400 miles
- immediately got alerts on the app that my DEF is low.
However, the driver info center said 1000 miles left and the gauge shows 3/4 full.
1. With the native google maps, can you change to satellite?
2. Can you set the fog lights to default on?
3. Where on earth is the current gear displayed on the driver display?
Edit: sorry, 2025 Yukon Denali diesel
